ACK! Is there a close dupe for this? So hard to find now. To the lovers of this, what have you found to replace it?
Thanks!

I’m always looking for a tinted moisturizer with SPF and had high hopes for this one. The fragrance is really strong, even for me despite not usually caring much about these things. But the fragrance wasn’t the worst aspect of this product. It left my skin really greasy (admittedly I have oily skin – maybe this would work better for those who don’t). But to top it all off, on the days when I wore it my face got tan. SPF 15 is better than nothing, but whether it’s the low SPF or something else about the formula, I don’t think it does a good job of protecting your skin from sun damage.

If you were a fan of La Mer’s old tinted moisturizer SPF 18, you will appreciate this product. It’s light and emollient, and gives the skin a very sheer wash of color and a healthy glow. Nice skin-care ingredients including green tea and Hyaluronic acid to plump you up a bit. Yes, it has a rather strong fragrance (reminds me a bit of the big perfumes of the 1980s) but it’s not unpleasant, and doesn’t last forever. The colors are limited – if you were light in the La Mer, you’d likely be 102 in AP – this is the more yellow-based of the two light options, and then 204 is the more yellow/warm based of the deeper shades. I’m pretty fair, and can see that in the summer I’ll likely need to mix 102 and 204 to get the tone I need when a bit tan. I am normal/dry skin, and VERY sensitive (will get itchy/read and little breakouts if my skin doesn’t like a product) and have not had any problems with this stuff. Definitely recommend! One lippie off for the strong fragrance.

From the reviews I thought this would be a good every day moisturizer with a little color to even out my skin, disappointed in the product. The first thing I saw was the box said it was a “Sunscreen”, this is the purpose of the product. Very sheer to any coverage, but does not look like it has a lot of talc or has a flat finish. However the scent is overwhelming and lasts for a good half hour or more. It felt like I sprayed my face with perfume. Not what I was looking for!

I bought this product for the sole reason that I’ve been on a Amore Pacific skin care binge lately. I’ve used their skincare products and found that the products work well for my skin so I decided to get this TM as I’ve been wanting to get TM’s lately since they’re lighter on the skin than foundation. I bought this TM in shade 204 which matches my NC30-35 skin tone. The packaging is in a squeeze tube so it’s good in the hygiene department. THe product texture is more like a fluid cream. It’s not extremely thick but it’s not thin like a fluid. It’s not as thick as the TheBalm’s TM. However, the coverage is pretty decent. I would say it’s a medium coverage. Im quite surprised that it’s a medium coverage because I was expecting a lighter coverage for a TM. It’s similar to a BB cream coverage, in my personal opinion. I don’t apply a heavy layer on so medium coverage is what I think, for me. I believe there is a very light scent to the product, just like the other AmorePacific products; however, it has not given me any breakouts or otherwise. The texture spreads pretty smoothly on my face. I use about a pea sized amount and it covers my face well. It helps to even my skintone and lightly cover any redness. It does not cover blemishes so a separate concealer is needed. I would say this product works well as a traveling product if you want light coverage on vacation without needing to carry other foundations. I use this product with my fingers and it blends well. I have not used it with a brush as I mostly use my fingers to apply any foundation and/or TM (with the exception of mineral foundation). The only con is the price. It’s a hefty $70CAD. But why be surprised when it’s AP.. all of their products are in the high end range. I’ve been enjoying their products lately so I decided to spend on this one as well. This is a luxury brand that I’d be willing to spend money on as it has been working for my skin. It is also has SPF 15 in it, which is.. OK but not great. It would be nicer if the SPF was higher, minimum 30, but unfortunately it comes with 15. IT is not a big issue for me as I apply a separate sunscreen on prior to makeup application.
I originally bought this product on the Sephora website. For Canadians, the product is not sold on the CAD website anymore. Sephora has limited a LOT of products on their CAD website very recently so the only way to buy this product is in the US Sephora stores or unless you have a US shipping address then you can order off the US Sephora website. Very disappointed in Sephora for restricting so many great items to us Canadians. Other than that, I would probably repurchase this product if I can find it.

Holy Grail Batman! This product is beyond wonderful. It is moisturizing, evens skintone and makes your skin look like great skin. Far superior to any foundation, TM, BB, CC I’ve tried.
It seems pricey but you get 1.7 ounces rather than the typical 1 ounce thereby making it approximately $40 per ounce. Most really good foundations cost more.
I have received the most compliments on my skin since using this. My face is in the best shape it’s ever been. Of course I still use concealer for the “spots” but I have to do that anyway.
Highly recommend this product for those of us in middle age who need the moisture and the added benefits this product supplies. Note: I still have an oily t-zone and set with powder in the summer, but have not had to do that this winter.
I’m in love!

Unlike so many BB creams, this one actually makes me look younger, not older. It covers pores properly, doesn’t settle into lines, and never oxidizes or turn a muddy color. It is not as heavy as make up and the finish is a natural glow, not fake sparkles or an unnatural shine. It smooths on and spreads easily and #104 was a good color match for me, as it had a bit of pink in it. It may be pricey, but you are getting 1.7 oz. and a high quality product. One of the 4 best I tried (out of 20 BB Creams.) On the down side, the SPF is merely 15.

It’s not that this is a horrible product, but rather that it’s nothing that great and has several drawbacks.
Pros:
-great texture and feels very velvety going on
-if you have dry skin it is very moisturizing
Cons:
-run for the hills if you have oily or combination skin…it has a matte finish when you put it on but the oil on my face was out of control by lunch
-it only has SPF 15…SPF 30 is pretty standard and I didn’t want to have to slather an additional sunscreen under this tinted moisturizer
-it doesn’t have staying power and was virtually gone by 2pm
Again, it’s not that I hate this product, but I would never recommend it to a friend unless she had wads of cash to throw away. I would definitely pay $70 for an unbelievable product, but this particular one doesn’t even come close to justifying the price.
There are SO many other great tinted moisturizers out there…I wouldn’t waste my money and am glad I only tried it because I received a sample.

The coverage is pretty decent, comparable to that of various oil-free foundations I’ve tried. Unless one stares right at my face, my face looks flawless. The moisturizer is thin and easy to spread. My combination/dry skin is well moisturized. I would like this product better if Amore Pacific removed or reduced the perfume in this product.

I received a sample of this a few months ago, but didn’t use it. My skin has been breaking out like crazy lately, so I turned to this. I even went back to Sephora and got a darker color because 106 is actually darker than 204, which the sales associate did not know. My skin is oily and extremely sensitive, especially lately. I’m also med-dark skintone, more olive than yellow. This covers well if used with a brush, and dabbing concealer over problem areas. I put Chanel’s loose powder in #3 on top which is yellow and helps neutralize some of the pink in the 106 color. It keeps me less oily, but I do have to blot. I do have to admit that this can rub off on some areas, but I don’t mind reapplying sometimes. But for $70 dollars, I’d expect a little better. I will say, however, that my skin doesn’t break out (although I’ll get a pimple or two if I sleep in it), and I love the fresh look this gives me. I truly enjoy using it, and the smell hasn’t bothered me so far. I look forward to it, in fact. Hope this helps.
