I’ve tried a couple of the other Alba sunscreens and really enjoyed them, so I gave this a go for my young son. I believe the mineral protection and ingredients are better for him than most other formulations; however this was so awkward to use that I cannot recommend it. The formula almost seems to separate on contact with the skin, and rubbing it in feels like rubbing thick paste onto wet slippery skin. It does rub in eventually but it feels strange and gritty, and it’s almost impossible to do a thorough job on an impatient squirming child.
