Do not spray this on your face. You are asking for trouble. White dots EVERYWHERE! It will get in your hair. I would recommend spraying a sponge over a sink and then dab it on your face. That makes it inconvenient to use as I bought to reapply sunscreen over make up. Even if I weren’t wearing makeup, I wouldn’t spray it on my face. It gets everywhere. I hope to use it up this summer. I will not repurchase. The mist needs to be finer and they should remove the titanium dioxide. This would get rid of the white dots. I saw a reviewer say this isn’t broad spectrum, but mine is. It has amiloxate 3%, octinoxate 7%, octisalate 3%, and titanium dioxide 1.9%. Just don’t buy it.

Caution! This is NOT a broad spectrum sunscreen. The description on Pixi’s site claims that this is broad spectrum but it only contains one chemical filter: Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate. Also known as Uvinul A Plus. It only protects from UVA2 rays, not UVA1 and UVB. UVA1 is the one causing premature aging. Do not put your money on this.

Nope, nope and nope. This product disappointed me so bad. I love pixi. I use a number of products from the brand and got quite excited when i came across this sun mist. first of all, the mist is not so misty. I have one from nivea (sun protect spray) which is way more misty than this one. It is a bit heavy so it leave white spots all over makeup and no way to salvage makeup after that. It is a bit oily and the white chalkiness is similar to regular sunscreens. Word of advice, do NOT apply over makeup. Actually, i might just use it for beach days or when outdoors but i have not found any other use for it. Will not repurchase.

I’m surprised that this got such disappointing reviews. I was looking for something in the line of glossier’s invisible shield as their reviews are so inconsistent, I couldn’t bare to spend money on a product I am unable to “play” with. I stumbled upon this, and already loving a lot of the pixi products; I decided to buy it.
I’m wondering if the ladies on here were maybe over applying the product, or spraying too close to their face?
I do a very light mist all over before my main moisturizer and it leaves me with a nice silky feeling, and a nice glow. None of that thick, greasy, gross film that you get with regular sun screen or a moisturizer with spf.
I would absolutely repurchase this bad boy.

Let me start by saying, I will probably purchase this again, but only because I can’t seem to find another product like this.
If there was anything similar on the market, I think I’d rather try something different.
This sun mist is very softening & before applying make-up dries very quickly.
It sprays evenly enough over your face, but I do feel like it needs rubbing in, which is quite annoying because I bought this as a top up to spray over make-up during the day.
You can do this if you blot it after, it’s very greasy sat on top of make-up if you don’t.
I don’t know about anyone else, but used alongside other pixi products, it has make my skin feel very clear & soft each day.
I think this product would be perfect to take on holiday, where I wouldn’t wear make-up anyway, to top up on your SPF throughout the day.
Pros:
Dries quickly (on a bare face)
Very softening
Broad spectrum SPF
The spray bottle; the product comes out extremely fine like a fixing mist.
Cons:
Sits heavy on top of make-up and can look greasy
Works better if rubbed in which defeats the point of the spray.

I am a big believer in the idea that the best sunscreen is one that you will actually use. I bought this with the maybe not quite correct assumption that this would be a good sunscreen to use in the afternoon on top of makeup, to pump up my sun protection after my base sunscreen has been on for awhile. The mister on this makes it pretty unusable for this purpose. Instead of shooting out a fine mist like spray that covers your face (think Mario Badescu facial sprays, UD setting sprays, MAC fix plus), this has a very strong, not evenly spaced out spray. It is also a bit oily, so putting it on top of makeup left very thick droplets in sporadic areas and actually caused my base to have white spots. The only way it is usable is to spray it multiple times and then rub it on your face. Which would be fine on a completely bare face, but it will ruin makeup. Hell, if you are wearing moisturizer, it will pill as you spread it. I don’t even want to use it on my arms or other body parts, it leaves a sticky/greasey residue. Because this is so awful feeling, I have no idea if it is good sun protection. I just know that I will never want to use it.
