At last!! An Asian sunscreen I can use!! I have beeen fascinated with Asian sunscreens for years, but I am very fussy ingredients wise. The Biore watery essence that’s popular is of no interest to me as it’s full of alcohol.I also won’t used anything fragranced , with citrus oils, or any other uneccessary irritants. And I can’t use chemical sunscreens as they sting my eyes.So I was up against it!This is a physical sunscreen with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as the sunscreen actives.I couldn’t beleive my luck when I came across this on Ratzilla.com (the full ingredients list is there in English) and quickly ordered it online. It’s avaible on Dokodemo ,a site that sells Japenese products or Amazon. It is a milky liqiud that’s quite runny, but it’s easy to apply and dries quickly . It seems greasy on application but soon dries to a matte finish.I apply it quite liberally , always be sure to apply the required amount ,1/4 teaspoon for face, same again for neck.I cringe when I read comments like ” a little goes a long way” for sunscreens. It dosen’t !!You must apply the correct amount to get the spf protection on the label. This leaves an ever so slight white cast, but it’s really not noticable and because this is runny I probably apply more than I should, better safe than sorry. It’s PA++++. so the UVA protection is good, I only wish I knew the actual zinc and titanium dioxide content in this but I can’t get that information anywhere! So overall this has become my favourite sunscreen. On the downside, it is hard to remove it really clings to skin, but that’s it doing it’s job.You will need to double cleanse to remove this.I don’t like it under make up , it seems to change the colour of my foundation and makes me look too pale. I only wear make up at work ,so it’s not a big deal, I just use another sunscreen for work.It could be perfectly ok for some to use under make up, you’d need to try for yourself. So I’m delighted with this, Asian sunscreens like this are so hard to fine, if anyone knows of any more like this I’d sure appreciate it if you’d let me know by mailing me! Thanks in advance.
