I was so excited to try this curling iron. Unfortunately, it fell short for me. There are definitely some pros though, and it may work for you…
Pro’s:
-It heats up to a whopping 450 degrees F. at it’s highest temperature setting
-It has an extra long barrel, allowing for thicker sections of hair to be curled
-It rotates, making it easy on your forearms
Con’s:
-It costs $102 CDN, which is NOT CHEAP for a styling tool
-I found that it left a dent in my ends making them look very parched
-For me, the curl just didn’t hold
-Because of the rotating actions, the barrel winds the curl into a tight ringlet, regardless of the amount of hair you curl at one time…I was looking for more of a loose beach wave, so this didn’t do it for me
This is not a bad styling tool, it just didn’t work for me, and I’ll be returning it today. I think I’ll stick with my original clipless curling iron that I bought 6 years ago…the result is much better.
