Didn’t thicken my hair at all. I’ve had better results from drugstore products. It also made my scalp burn. It’s loaded with ingredients so the chance of a reaction is not out of the question. Just because a company pushes itself as environmental and natural doesn’t make it less of a risk for sensitivity. Total waste of $30.

I have baby fine hair and not a lot of it. My scalp is a mile wide at this point. Making matters worse, my hair’s almost black and I’m light olive complected, so I get that lovely contrast between dark hair and acres of white scalp. I really should bite the bullet and try Lady Rogaine, but it seems like such a faff, y’know? And so I rely on styling products to give me the illusion of thicker hair. This is a very good one that really does seem to plump up my strands a bit. It even makes my hair feel a bit thicker. (The spicy herbal smell and minimalist apothecary-like packaging, like that of all Aveda products, is also TO DIE.) My only gripe is that $29 for 3.4 fl oz is a little spendy. I ran out between visits to my salon, so I’m currently tiding myself over with a drugstore alternative. But I will almost certainly buy this again.
