A lightweight citrus scented styling foam that does not really “enhance” curls but at least it does not leave hair looking hard or crunchy once it dries. Some have said this leaves hair crunchy but I do not find that at all. I apply this after leave-in conditioner and then let my hair air dry. Once dry, I’m left with soft, bouncy hair, not defined curls but probably the most natural looking considering there is product in there. I usually add Maui Moisture Coconut Milk Styling Oil to give my hair a little more shine. I have yet to find the perfect styling product with all the desired effects so will continue the search.

I have a funny mix of curly and wavy hair. I used this product in the hope of having a full head of curls, but it did not work. I tried it several times, each time ending with flat waves.

I’ll start off by telling you I have fine, type 2b hair..I generally love Devacurl light gel for my hair but since moving to Hawaii it’s not convenient to get it in town. So when I took a trip to Walgreens I found this next to his beach spray which I have loved in the past! I have been on a mission to find a light gel that gives lots of volumn since my hair loves to go flat (even after chopping to a bob). I decided to give this a try and found it really odd that I cannot for the life of me “scrunch out the crunch” once my hair is dry which is strange for a mousse? First time I used it I let it air dry which is my preferred method of drying. I did not notice it giving me the volumn I’ve been dying for. I used about a generous golf ball and a half yesterday and decided to diffuse my hair and wow what a difference! It def gave the volumn and because the product is crunchy the blow drying did not give me frizz like it usually does!! To get out the crunch I used my boar brush and brushed through, and my hair looked amazing!! Next I add my Hask shine serum to create seperation of my waves and some shine and I love my hair again!! Next day I brushed through with skme corn starch and added more hair oil, switched my part for root lift and my hair is still looking nice!! I did create some mini buns to add some more curl but my hair is full, soft and voluminous!! Impressed, my new go to as long as I can diffuse my hair to style 😍

I have very fine, curly hair and a lot of it. It get messy and tangled very easy. But I love my hair! I always wear it with the “scrunched” look to it – it’s messy and has a lot of volume and I love it.
A lot of products, I have found, tend to look great in your hair at first and then they all of a sudden weigh it right down. I hate this because I love the volume my hair has, I just need something to control it and tame it a bit. When I found this stuff, not only do I love, love, love the smell of it, it keeps volume in my hair for my 14 – 16 hr days. I really love it. It’s not sticky, either which is a huge bonus. Plus, like any other high end or semi-high end (I don’t really consider this to be a “Drug Store” product, even though I do buy it at Wal Mart because it’s still $8 – $10 CDN a can) a little goes a long way. I use this pretty much every day, unless I’m straightening or wearing my hair up and it will last me about 6 weeks. I find it doesn’t leave a film on my hair either, so very nice. It’s easy to wash out, too.
Someone else mentioned it doesn’t stay put for second day styling or isn’t as good but I cannot comment on that as I wash my hair pretty much every day and if I don’t wash it, my hair is up in a bun so I have no idea how it would look down, anyways.
Overall, love this product and will probably not venture out to buy anything else any time soon.

This is a great mousse. It does a good job defining my curls, and leaves them relatively crunch free. What little crunch there is goes away after a quick scrunch. My only complaint is that it does not last into day two.
The price is quite reasonable for a curl product, and I like the non-obtrusive smell.
My hair is very thick, but fine and medium curly. I find most creams and lotions not helpful.

I’ve been using TIGI for a long time, the purple curly series, after using the Catwalk series, and I hate the smell. It’s candy sweet and since I wasn’t getting great results from it I decided to try something different. The Marc Anthony series is a little less expensive. It certainly isn’t worse than TIGI and doesn’t have an obnoxious scent. I still don’t get frizz free perfectly formed curls, but I think it’s going to take another keratin treatment for that to happen. I do get decent hold, it’s not crunchy and doesn’t leave white flakes in my hair, and the mousse has some heft to it, it actually feels like I’m putting something in my hair that is going to stick around. I’ll be using this, not TIGI, from this point.
