This is a fantastic product for moisturizing and straightening! I naturally have fairly straight medium brown hair that is somewhat fine, but when it naturally air dries it becomes “kinky wavy”. When I don’t feel like doing my hair, I just use 1-2 pumps of this serum in my wet hair after the shower and lather it in. Please note, my hair is really long, down to the bottom of my back so I suggest using only one pump if you have medium to short hair.
After I’m done lathering it in, I blow dry my hair only for a few minutes and gentle brush my hair, then let my hair air dry.
My hair ends up silky and soooo smooth and so straight! No straightener needed!
I also recommend sleeping with your hair up in a clip of it’s long enough. It keeps my hair from ripping out while I’m tossing turning in bed and it also locks in some moisture at night.

I have been an avid Kerastase Oleo Relax user for many years. I like Kerastase products but they are ridiculously expensive and after a period of time, your hair does not respond to the product as it should. So after curling and straightening with irons, it is a given that my hair is not as healthy as it used to be. So I tried a bunch of oils and they all tangled my hair and the result was not pretty. I tried this product at a Kiehl’s store and I was so impressed. Upon contact, my hair responded very favorably. No tangle which was a huge plus and then no frizz which was icing on the cake. So I bought the product and started using it. Viola. I am in heaven and a converter from Kerastase serum which is $12 more expensive than this. Highly recommend, especially to those who are completely desperate.

This is probably my favorite hair serum. I bought it for about 26 usd but it was totally worth it. In fact, I’ve been using it for almost a year now everyday and i haven’t even used up half the bottle. It does not leave your hair or your hands feeling greasy and oily because it absorbs very quickly. I can honestly tell that after using this product my hair looks and feels healthier, shinier and smoother. Just one pump is enough. Would definitely recommend!

When I first bought this product I was not impressed. It remained at the back of my cabinet for over a year. Then, when I ran out of something or rather, I reached for it. I realize now that it works best at revitalizing my hair during those dry-shampoo stretches where I’m trying to make it until the next wash. I either use it by itself, or mix it in my palms with something like Fekkai glossing cream. Viola! My otherwise dry, dull hair will live to see another non-shampooed day after all.

I have been using this serum like about 5months and this definitely help me moisturize my hair. No more frizzy hair, and it doesnt make my hair become oily after applying. The price isnt a good value, but it is worth the result.

I just bought this today for a second time. It is really great stuff, makes my hair shiny and soft. I am just growing my hair into a medium length bob and have been using the BB Surf Spray, which tends to dry it. This makes it look shiny and soft again. Good job Kiehls.

I’ve tried a lot of silk protein hair products over the last year and this is for sure one of the best. My hair feels stronger, not as weak and it’s now much shinier. For a high end hair serum, this is a must try. I find the consistency to be perfect. Not too thick and not too runny. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it greasy, which is key. If you can’t spring for this because of the price, the line Organix has a wonderful serum. It’s called Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum. That’s another great buy for roughly half the price.

I used to think that all shine products were pretty much the same until I tried this one. It was love at the first application, and I’ve been using it for 4 years now. At $18, it’s a bit more expensive than drugstore brands but still much cheaper than many of the premium salon lines, and one bottle lasts quite a while.

Very nice silk serum, been happier with it than CHI as it’s not as greasy – this one never leaves a grease spot on my pillow or makes my skin break out.
