Despite being latina I unfortunately wasn’t blessed with the luscious spanish locks:< so my hair is usually suffering from flatness and just overall blahhness. So that's exactly why this little bottle caught my eye at a Cosmoprof sale that they were having with most of their TIGI products. Sugar dust claimed to add volume while absorbing oils so it sounded like something that would help my little flat hair predicament. I tried it on day 3 (the usual day when i wash my hair again) and I loved how it added volume at the roots so quickly! All i had to do was sprinkle and rough up with my hands and voila! However, I found that it didnt really end up living up to it's claim on absorbing the oil as it still felt a bit greasy especially with the tacky texture that the product left behind. However the texture is good for the volume effect but I think it's a no go on dirty hair though if you already have greasy looking hair.. But since I'm not a big hairspray or hairstyle product junkie I appreciated how quick this was at delivering volume. The product itself is very peculiar.. it is almost literally like little tiny snowflake fibers so make sure that you get it close enough to the scalp if you're not going to sprinkle it on your hands coz it will probably disburse away from where you wanted it to go. Anyway bottom line, I think it's a pretty decent product if you're more of an on the go kinda person looking for a quick pick me up solution. I especially see this working on women with shorter hair or pixie cuts. However, it can be quite pricey and for such a small amount idk of I will be repurchasing once I run out

I’ve been an enthusiastic convert to hair volumising powder ever since my hair stylist recommended it a year ago: my hair now feels naked without it.
There is only a very limited range available in the UAE, so I tried the TiGi Bed Head Sugar Dust when I ran out of my usual brand. UAE mark-ups aside, this product is still relatively highly priced compared to other high-street equivalents available in the UK, and you only get 1g of product (although this is not indicative of the volume of powder you get).
The powder is very fine, but for some reason would not meld into my scalp hair. Despite furiously shaking the Sugar Dust out of my black hair after I realised this (which left it clogged and sticky), my hair looked grey for the rest of the day.
I understand every product will vary from person to person, and I highly respect TiGi’s hair products, but this one will be staying unused on my bathroom dresser.
