It doesn’t do anything.
I bought it to control fly-aways at the top of my head and it can’t do that. Let alone give some shape. I have thin high porosity hair strands.
I’m very surprised that I like its mild lavender scent, I usually don’t like anything lavender.
Two lipstick for the scent, otherwise zero.

Was running out of my two standby pomade & wax products that come in jars so when my local hair salon was going out of business & had these for buy 1 get 3 free I snagged them. My other two products & pretty much every other product like them are very highly fragranced & really clash with my shine spray. To my liking this product doesn’t smell like anything & holds my long layers & short bangs into place without looking too shiny. I can still brush my hair out after application with ease & mold my longer boy cut into the shape I want. The wax stick concept is also amazing as I usually style my hair in a rush & this prevents me from having to scoop anything out & wash my hands afterwards & I’m able to get product in hard to reach areas like the back of my head or the little hairs behind my ears. The only con is that even with minimal pressure this stick constantly gets pushed back down causing me to have to push it back up.

Awesome hair stick!!! I usually get a jar of wax from my hairdressers to style my pixie hair but he ran out. So i ran into Nordstrom Rack and found this and thought I might give it a try. The smell is not too strong, very little goes a long way. A few swipes on my hair and styling it with my fingers and i’m done! No more sticky hands and fingers from using regular wax and the hold from the hair stick is fantastic. AWESOME PRODUCT!

I used this a long time ago when I was getting my hair cut super short. As some other reviewers said below it does not have much hold. I think it had less hold than the headbanger. The tube it came in was pretty flimsy. And it has very little product considering the price.

This stuff is ridiculously good. Between finding an amazing stylist and finally sucking it up and repurchasing this Bedhead Hair Stick, I now have the kind of seriously awesome hair that people stop me on the street to ask about.
I first used this about 12 years ago when I was doing a spiky, choppy kind of thing. I grew my hair a little, ran out, and kind of forgot about it. I’ve had mostly short hair for the last decade and I can not tell you how much money I’ve wasted on various lower end products that I use once or twice and then give away or finally throw in the trash. I like my hair to look good, but I don’t care enough to spend more than about 5 minutes total on it. I also can not stand to have anything sticky on my hair.
I finally rediscovered this product and it was seriously probably the best $18.95 I’ve spend in 2011 (and $18.95 seems high, but it’s really not – this stuff will last). I blow dry my hair then rub the wax on my fingers, lightly run my fingers through my hair until it’s a disaster, and then sort of move it back into place and finish it with hair spray. It’s piece-y, it gives me volume and body, and it just looks perfect. If it’s windy or something otherwise messes with my sprayed hair, it still looks cool. I can play with it and move it around without being left with a greasy mess on my hands (if your hair is staining shirts, you’re using too much).
There’s nothing else I can say. If you have short-ish hair and you want something to give a little volume, define, separate, and create texture you MUST buy this. I can’t believe I was ever dumb enough to stop using it, but I will never, ever be without it again.

it is dirt cheap and so amazing!!! i say dirt cheap because tha amount that you get for your money will last for almost forever. as it has a stick form you cannot overdose it you can give amazing textures and shapes for your hair!!! when i had short and spikey hair i used it and every day was a new adventure with it.

I love this wax stick. I use it to control any out of place hairs, any hair that does not lay flat. It works wonders. LOVE IT! I’m on my third tube. It lasts a long time, but I use this almost daily.

I have frizy hair and when I straighten it out I can’t add hairspray or gel w/ out my hair getting curly again. I love putting this stuff on to tame fly aways. I love how it comes in a push up tube. It smells like tea tree oil. This stuff is thick and goes on clear. It leaves you hair kinda shiny and slick. It’s perfect for getting that greaser/ pinup girl hair. This is good for getting your hair to stay in place if you don’t like using gel or hairspray. Holds w/ out leaving you hair crunchy or flakey.

Fantastic product, when used correctly. Apply directly to hair to tame flyaways and add texture. If you need extra hold, hold a blowdryer to the stick until it melts. Take however much product you need, emulsify, and style as desired. Will maintain hold thoughout the day–and if it doesn’t, you just need to shift your hair back into place.

I was at Winners and had major hat hair. I have side swept bangs and shoulder length heair with layers and I didn’t put any styling products in the morning,thus I ended up with an itchy forehead due to my bangs and flyaways. I discovered this along with all the bath and body products. it’s a push up wax pomade stick that suppose to add texture. I bought it and love it! I just used my fingers or apply directly to my hair with the stick and it tames flyaways, added definition and made my hair a little shiny and sleek looking. You just have to be careful not to apply too much directly from the stick to your ahir or you’ll end up having greasy look. I also love the smell. It smells like floral with a hint of herbal or spice? It’s very portable and convenient too!
