Ugh! So bad! To describe this foundation stick in one word: GRITTY. And that’s enough for me to not want to use it. It literally feels/looks like it has sand in the formula. SAND. It makes for an unpleasant application. Scratchy as hell, almost feels like you’re applying an exfoliating scrub, made me worried it was actually damaging my skin. Takes some effort to blend, clings to dry patches, sinks in pores, has a bit of a waxy finish.
I’ve actually tried to scrape off the top layer several times, in hopes that it was just the top layer that had the grainy bits in it, and that it would be smooth underneath. Alas, NO. It’s crap through and through. I also tried looking up other reviews of this product in case I might have gotten a dud, but I found many other people referring to the gritty texture. And now that I think about it, the tester at the store where I bought this was also gritty, but silly me I went and bought it anyway, thinking maybe the tester was just old or dried out from being exposed to the air. Nope. Maybe the texture is due in part to it’s “pure” ingredients…but for the price this really should’ve been done better. Gross

Yes 1 star is harsh but I am royally pissed – this thing DOES cause itching and rash like a lot of users reported on various websites, and it IS weird considering how this contains no fillers etc.
The texture itself ends up looking like scales on your face, especially in slightly less oily areas. Not only do i have hard itchy rash like patches in the middle of a work day at the office, my skin looks dry and scaly. Returning it ASAP!

I give this foundation a high rating because it does not break out my HIGHLY sensitive skin (most foundations do). I like how easy it is to apply (I swipe it on my face and blend out with a beauty blender). It blends out well and provides good coverage. One criticism I have is that it seems to settle in the fine lines on my forehead (ew). Perhaps I just need a better setting powder… Regardless, I would recommend this foundation for those of you with sensitive (dry) skin like myself.

I have oily to combo skin. I don’t expect a stick foundation to control my oil, per previous reviewer. But since this is a creamy foundation stick, it’s not the best for my skin type, so no rebuy. It does come in several good shades–I got Blush Medium, as Light was too pale for my light-medium skin. Packaging is pretty silver and convenient and you get a lot. It works well as a redness/undereye concealer, less chance of breakout than all over.
I would recommend this for normal-dry skins!

I actually think this is a pretty nice foundation. Sadly, my skin is super oily and this does nothing to control that. It goes on very smoothly and blends out nicely-I find it blends out best with a beauty sponge. It is mostly matte and looks really pretty on the skin. When I do get oily it does hold up, and doesn’t transfer to a blotting sheet. I’ll probably continue to use it but I wouldn’t rebuy as I have foundations that do better on my skin. I would recommended it though, for normal to combo skin. Not sure it would be great if you are dry.
