I’m sure this is a secret weapon in every European makeup artist’s kit – it’s absolutely brilliant for on the go exfoliation, a crucial skin prep step designed to make textured skin less bumpy and flakey before putting on foundation. You can use this on the lips as well, clearing away dead skin cells to prep the way for a great lipstick. In addition, these wipes have a sticker seal and plastic lid on top to ensure that none of the wipes dry out. Who doesn’t love a thoughtfully designed, multitasking product???
That said, if you rub this too hard, it’s going to be very scratchy. Rub gently and patiently, and it will result in baby smooth skin. Flip over the sheet to the smooth side and rub the alpha hydroxy acids into your skin to complete the magic ritual. As these leave a residue, I will usually proceed to use a cotton pad with micellar water to clean it off. Then I usually top off with a hydrating serum or a good moisturizer (in the cases of very dry skin, I use both) before proceeding to foundation. (I don’t use this product to remove makeup but some reviewers on KIKO’s website have commented that it does that.)
The full retail price (£5.99) is quite pricey for wipes, but I think that they’re worth it for the thoughtful design and convenience. I will definitely repurchase, especially when KIKO has one of their many sales in store!

Really good product, but not for its intended purpose. The wipes are a too scratchy to use on the face, but Lisa Eldridge recommended using them as a lip exfoliator and they work brilliantly for that. They’re great for exfoliating other parts of the body – just not the face!
