LOVEE!!!
I was a bit apprehensive at first to try a ‘micro-brasion’ skin treatment, I thought that I was probably going to end up with a red burnt face!
But, I was really pleasantly surprised at just how lovely this polish/mask is! It does start to warm up as you’re applying which is nice, and I generally leave it on my face for 4-5 minutes. After washing it off my skin feels very smooth and very refreshed!
You do need to follow this up with a good moisturiser as I can imagine it would dry your skin out with frequent use. I’ve been using Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel which has worked just fine 🙂

This is a staple in my shower, as I find it best used in the morning, for beautiful smooth makeup application. Alternatively, use it prior to using a facial I mask.
The warming sensation feels good, but I’m not convinced it actually makes the product any better.
The product,is a combination of a clay-like base, with exfoliating grains, so should only be worked lightly over the face. .
It has rather a strong rose smell, which dissipates quickly.
Make sure you follow up with a good moisturiser.

Love this product, the beads are quite fine so not too harsh on the skin. The warming sensation is lovely and relaxing, the scent is very mild and I don’t really notice it. Although it’s not overly cheap ($20+ in Australia), you only need to use a small amount so it lasts quite awhile. I have also found that need to use it less often after awhile which is great. Happy to have found this one.

Bought this on a whim, whilst aimlessly meandering Boots.
Scent: Rose (to me it’s pretty subtle but if you’re averse to rose then you are bound to notice the smell more.)
Application: I used a blob size of a sweetcorn on each cheek and on forehead.
The key thing here is that to feel any warming, you have to move the product round in small circles, once you do that it starts to heat up (it’s not acid hot, more warm flannel hot)
Unlike a lot of face mask type thingybobs, I barely noticed this on my face. I felt no irritation, no tightening, and the polish beads didn’t feel like the tiny grains of glass that I’m pretty sure they use in most face exfoliator masks (I’m being overdramatic, I know)
Once washed off – you can wash off immediately, I left it on though for about 10 minutes – my skin feel so soft and really clean. I’m not going to say my pores disappeared and now I look like Natalie Portman, but I have seen significant improvement with my dry skin, oily t-zone and my pores are minimising slowly but surely.
I think £12 is pretty much a bargain for this product. It’s a good size tube and you only need to use it 3x a week for 2 weeks then it can be a once a week facial treat.
I have used Soap&co micropeel before (I love it, it’s amazing but it’s hard to get hold of where I live plus it’s pretty expensive) and this Sanctuary warming polish is just as good. What a star find!
