It’s does improve the overall texture of my skin. I use it 2-3 times per week in the shower and notice a difference. But it’s not *amazing*. I removed points for packaging because my tube started to crack along the sides.

Not sure why it says peel, you can’t peel it off nor did i experience peeling from using this product. It’s more of a scrub. One thing i like about it is it does exfoliate but not to my satisfaction.Would’t repurchase it.

A 2n1 very gentle physical and chemical scrub. I have very sensitive skin and it does not irritate my skin yet still gives good results. Its a very gentle scrub, almost like the Clinique one but with more scrubbies and a lot more effective. I leave it on for 10 minutes like a masque so it can do its extra smoothing magic (chemical exfoliation 6% lactic acid and papaya). The scent is herbal, like when you dry your own real rose petals. Its more like crushed leaves than floral. Similar to the Fresh Rose Face Mask scent. Anyway, once I rinse it off my skin is soft and smooth like baby skin. Purchased 4 times so far.

I’m going to start off by saying I think the smell of this is horrific…and lingers. I used this tonight and seriously it’s the only thing I can smell, it gets all up in your nose and won’t quit until you feel nauseated. What kind of smell you ask? That kind of fake cucumber/plastic/wet dirt smell certain products have…I was trying to place where I smelled this before and then I remembered it was Paula’s Choice Hydralight line that I used a few years ago (and gagged every time I used it, and even my husband complained about the scent). But anyhow….
I have a mini size of this that came in a Pixi gift set, along with a mini Glow Tonic and Rose Balm. Everything was pink and green and mini and cute-I was so excited to try this!
First thing that threw me off (other than the nauseating scent) was that the texture was much thinner than I expected ( the cream or lotion base of it) and it wasn’t easy to spread. But WORSE! It felt and looked like it had grains of sand in it (to exfoliate-thats the polish part I presume). Yikes! It felt so rough to me I was scared to spread it on my face as my skin is delicate and prone to broken capillaries, irritation, redness, etc. Especially with the lotion being so thin there was nothing to cushion the graininess if that makes sense….so basically I felt like I was scratching my face with sand just applying it. That was the first and last time I applied this to my whole face….now I will only use it on my chin which is the part of my face that needs the most exfoliation anyway, as the skin is thicker, oilier, prone to breakouts and generally more textured. I refuse to SCRUB with this also, and it definitely feels more like a scrub than a mask to me, although it also has lactic acid and other things to chemically exfoliate….but simply just spreading this on and rinsing it off ( I leave it on 2 mins as per the instructions on the tube) feels like I’m scrubbing my face although I try to be very gentle. Keep in mind I’m a wuss and very paranoid about damaging my skin and generally avoid scrubs altogether-I prefer chemical exfoliation. So if you’re a fan of St Ives type of super scrubby scrubs and those kind of products, you may feel this product does nothing at all in the way of scrubbing.
Finally, to the point….does this work? Sure. I don’t like it much (due to scent and texture as I mentioned) but I force myself to use it about once a week ( now only on my chin). It makes my skin smooth and soft, and I feel peeled and polished for sure. Will I buy again? No. There’s other products that will give the same results that are more pleasant to use IMO.
I do love most Pixi skincare and continue to use and try quite a bit of it….but this is a pass for me…

It’s okaaay, nothing special, I think for the price point it doesn’t perform as well as it should, I like the ingredient list and my skin does feel soft after using it, that said there are better and cheaper exfoliating treatments out there like cosrx toners and ren wake up wonderful.
This does not feel like a peel either, just a fancy scrub imo, probably won’t repurchase.

I’ve been using this product on and off for about 3 months now, and really like it, and am finding that it works well. It’s nothing fancy, it won’t revolutionize your life, but it will give you lovely skin over time if you’re patient and use it consistently. I think that’s the trick to the whole Pixi Skin Treats line- they’re gentle and when used consistently over time, they give great cumulative results, you just gotta hang in there. I love using this in the mornings after washing my face if I’m using certain serums and I don’t want to take that chance that an acid toner will minimize the effects or neutralize that serum. I apply a pea-sized amount to wet skin (it says on the directions to use on dry skin, but I’ve found I like using it best on wet skin), gently massage in for a minute and then rinse off with a flannel. After doing this every morning for about 2 weeks, I noticed that my skin looked great- even tone, glowy, just nice skin. I’ve repurchased this once already and will continue to do so, I think that this product works very well.

One of the most gentle scrubs I have ever come across. Worth buying. Just a little expensive though, but does its work as it says.

Meh. Just meh. I read so many good reviews about this and got it with other Pixi products. Don’t get me wrong: I like Pixi a lot, but their range is very much a big hit or a big miss- LOVE the Glow Mud Cleanser, Tinted Gel, Oxygen Mask, and some others, but some of their stuff just doesn’t deliver. This is one of the latter kind, unfortunately. It’s a scrub that I apply as a mask for 10 minutes to benefit from the enzymes before I shower, then massage it into my skin- the consistency is one of a scrub- and rinse it off. It feels “scrubby” enough to make you feel like you’re getting rid of dead skin, but in reality, doesn’t make my face any softer, and doesn’t change anything. I’m still on a mission to finish this tube, so I use it on my chest only. Very underwhelmed as it’s the first scrub I use that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. I wouldn’t recommend. There’s plenty of other good scrubs out there, and even a DIY one would work better.

The product smells good, the packaging is ok, just a basic tube. It exfoliates, and leaves my skin soft, but I feel like so does any other exfoliation product. Guess I’m struggling to find what makes this product worth $24.00.
