It didn’t wow me! I have oily, acne-prone skin. I use clay masks mainly when my skin breaks out. This face mask is a bit hydrating, it’s great for dry skin but it doesn’t work for my oily skin. GLAMGLOW supermud really helps with break outs, it minimises them and dries them out but this isn’t like that at all. It’s similar to the Yes to Tomatoes – Detoxifying Charcoal Sleeping Mask (in my opunion this is a dupe!).
If you want a clay Mask that will not dry your skin out and it’s packed with many beneficial for your skin ingredients (aloe vera, manuka honey, propolis, clay etc.) go for the Liz Earle – Deep Cleansing mask it’s way less intense comparing to the “supermud” but has better ingredients than the Charlotte Tilbury.

I have been using this product for the last two months and can honestly say it does absolutely nothing for my skin. It has a nice packaging with the mask texture which is easy to apply and take off. It makes my skin a smidgen softer but does nothing for radiance and it doesn’t appear to have improved the look of my skin in any way. If your on the search for a clay mask I would not recommend this one, look elsewhere. Very disappointed in this product.

This does nothing for my skin except to make it feel smoother, but even this effect is soon gone. It did not do anything to reduce pores or hydrate or any of the claims it says it will do. Her marketing overall exaggerated what her products can do. I returned this because it was not worth it.

I have dry skin. It dried out my skin, just like most clay masks. Didnt see much difference worth the price tag.

The mask was easy to apply and sat evenly on the skin. I placed a thick layer of the mask on my face and waited for 20 minutes. Whilst waiting, the mask tightened on my face, oozing of a sweet nutty smell, this must have been the sweet almond oil working. I love the fact that the sweet almond oil smells delicious but still hydrates and nourishes the skin.
Upon rinsing, I realised how tight the clay mask was sitting on my face, my skin was tightening the mask was cracking off my face. The mask was quite hard to come with just rinsing off with my hands; therefore, I used a sponge to take off the mask completely and then rinsing off with warm water. The Goddess skin clay mask does exactly what it advertises; I kept feeling my face, after removing the mask, as my skin felt silky smooth.

I bought a 0.5oz size tube of this clay mask as part of a CT skincare set. The full size contains 2.5 oz and costs $55 before tax. The smooth formulation of this paste is pleasant to apply. However, the heavy white floral perfume of this product is a considerable turnoff for me. There is even a separate item “fragrance” on the list of ingredients, so in addition to the plant extracts which can be irritants there was extra fragrance added which I am definitely not a fan of in skincare. I left the mask on for 10 minutes as directed and wiped it off with a damp warm wash cloth, followed by rinsing with tepid water. My skin felt ok, not overly dry or taut, but I definitely didn’t see any miracles in terms of pore size or a more even skin tone. Overall I think this just an average product. Due to the heavy, cloying fragrance I feel there are better clay masks available, hence I will not repurchase.

I got a sample of this clay mask the other week and finally decided to try it.
The texture was at first very nice: quite thick, but smooth, and easy to apply all over your face. You also didn’t have to use much to cover both face and neck.
However, as someone with very sensitive skin, I immediately started to notice warning signs after the first few minutes: that ever so slightly burning sensation when I’ve applied a product that irritates my skin. After ten minutes, I quickly washed it off and found my face and hands to be very sticky even after cleaning off my face. I suppose this is due to the ‘pore-minimizing’ effect, but nevertheless it is not a pleasant one.
I really wanted to love this product as I otherwise adore Charlotte Tilbury, but I’m afraid to say I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.

I see mixed reviews… Here’s my 2 cents.
I use this quite often and it hasn’t left me disappointed. It’s a good step for prepping your skin for makeup OR a good treat for your skin when you’re relaxing. I’ve always used sheet masks and LUSH masks. I feel as if CT’s products work together very well. I do use CT’s Magic Cream after this step (well, after toner!) and this makes my makeup application looking great. I know CT is all about prepping the skin before doing makeup.
I’ve personally tried this product on my own clients and this is a good treat for those who need to do makeup for a special event or photoshoot.
PROS:
– Spreads well
– IT’S IN A TUBE. (I can’t stand jars)
– Leaves skin smooth and soft (unlike most clay masks I’ve used)
– Skin feels plump-ish
– Good prep for skin
– Great spot treatment for breakouts (just used this on my chin for a couple of days and this works!)
– Anti-ageing
– Can leave it on as long as you like (as I was told by the rep)
– Smell… Because of the Magic Cream, I’ve become used to the scent. (I noticed that CT products have a similar smell)
CONS:
– Price. $80 CAD for 75ml. (My logic: I know it’s almost the equivalent price to a designer perfume BUT depending on how frequent one uses this, I feel the price should be a bit more reasonable).
I would repurchase again since my skin gets along with this product. I recently got a lot of face masks (from LUSH and the Faceshop) for my birthday. I’m pretty much committed to this product because of how my skin looks, feels, and how it helps out with my makeup application on myself + clients.

I really love this product. I can sometimes have sensitive skin, which reacts to a lot of face products. This didn’t break me out or give me a rash or anything bad like that. The next day my skin felt amazing. I personally got this in a set, and I would definitely get the set again as it was a good deal. But for the packaging and price I wouldn’t buy the product on it’s own. The packaging isn’t horrible but 100% not luxurious. When I think luxury I think glass or metal with a cute/professional design. This was just a basic squeeze tube. I know it’s not about the packaging, but for the price, I expect everything to be amazing, so for that reason I gave 4/5 lippies. I do think this amazing for pre-going out skincare. As it made my skin feel great. So if you’re willing to spend the cash and packaging is not an issue, definitely get this.
