I probably never would have discovered this product on my own; I only tried it because I got the 10% serum as a sample when I ordered my usual moisturizer online. My skin is dry, sensitive, but mostly clear of acne, though I do break out from time to time. Right now I am a couple months post partum, and dealing with minor breakouts and melasma as a result of the hormones. I don’t expect any products to cure these things, but was so pleased with what the mandelic acid serum did to my skin that I wound up ordering the full size. It’s too early to tell what the verdict will be on my melasma, but I would highly recommend it for anyone who struggles with acne, blackheads, large pores, or skin texture issues. I put this on at night and the next morning my skin feels soft and smooth. I’ll update if it helps my melasma.

I first heard of Nucelle while I was surfing on an acne board and everybody praised this line saying that it helped them with their blackheads (this has always been my main concern).
I read more reviews on other forums and people said only good things about it so I thought I could try the products also as I was eager and desperate to get rid of my blackheads.
I went on the Nucelle website and I ordered a kit: Normal/ Oily Skin.
I used these products last summer (for 3 weeks) but I stopped because I moved countries and I wanted to do the water only regimen anyway so that my skin could breathe a bit before trying the line again.
This month I thought I could give Nucelle a try and use them again and see what happens if I use the products for a long period of time.
I remember that last summer when I stopped using the products, my blackheads came back.
The kit contains the following products (60 ml each) and they all come in clear recipients so that you can see how much you have left. They all have a pleasant smell, especially the scrub it smells like almonds. They contain perfume.
Mandelic Wash with Mandelic Marine Complex® Purifying Face Cleanser
Mandelic Toner with Mandelic Marine Complex® Moisture-Rich Hydrator
Mandelic Moisture Shine Control – Oil-Controlling Moisturizer
Mandelic Serum 10% – Anti-Wrinkle Recovery Complex
Mandelic EyeLift Crème Anti-Line and Firming Crème (15 ml and I got is as a gift)
Papaya Skin Exfoliator – Skin-Smoothing Polisher
I ordered the Sunscreen extra
NuCèlle Spa Instruction Card.
They had to send a sample of the Anti Oxidant treatment but they didn’t and when I wrote them an email they said they will send one with my next purchase but I didn’t buy this kit again.
FIRST let me tell you that if you want to try these products you have to expect: dryness, flakies, redness, irritation and blackheads coming out that look nasty on the skin. Expect purging. It lasts (depending on the skin) between 4-7 days. You MUST use a VERY GOOD moisturiser and USE SUNSCREEN daily! In the first few days the skin looks very bad but then it gets better. IF you feel your skin is in pain or looks VERY bad then STOP using the products or use them every now and then. Don’t stop using them and then start using them again too many times. Stick with the regimen. If you can, of course.
I’ve started using them again 8 days ago.
The WASH- Morning and evening. I wet my face, I put 2 drops in my palm, I rub a bit (it foams) then I wash my face with it. My skin looks clean, clear and smooth.
The TONER-Morning and evening. I put 3 drops on a cotton pad) and then I gently apply it on my skin. My face looks bit red, dry and flakey.
The MOISTURIZER-Every morning. I put 2 drops in my palm and gently apply it on my skin. It doesn’t have any moisturizing properties and it doesn’t control the oil. But I don’t like getting rid of expensive products so I just use it.
The EYE cream- Every morning. I apply some small dots on my eye region and then I tapuntil it is absorbed. It is moisturizing but in the first few days I got tiny red dots around my eyes. Now I don’t have them anymore.
The SERUM- I use it every other night. 2 drops in my palm and then dab on my skin. DON’T rub. It leaves my skin dry and red.
The SCRUB- I use it every other night. I wet my face with water and then I massage gently. It helps with the flakies and it smells nice.
The SUNSCREEN- I only used it 2 times and it is disgusting. It sits on the surface of the skin, it clogs the pores, it looks greasy and leaves a white cast on my face.
Results: after my last summer experience and these 8 days experience I can see an improvement: my face is smooth, clearer, fewer blackheads, it brings the pimples to a head very very fast and after the initial purging and flakies, my skin looks better and better.
I will use this line until I finish all the products. I don’t know if I will repurchase because I have to order it online and if you want bigger bottles, it costs a lot (plus shipping).
The products contain lots of ingredients, including perfume.

I saw results in three days!! I am 32. I had 100% perfect skin until 30, when my hormones, stress, life went crazy. I have large pit marks now, hyperpigmentation, horrible cystic acne which flares monthly with my periods. For two years I have tried: oral abt, sprionolatone, topical duac, every bp and sa product out there, glycolic acid peels, a million facials, vitamin c serums, home remedies of yogurt, lemon juice, witch hazel… I think you get the picture. THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT HAS WORKED AND IN THREE DAYS!!! I can not believe this at all. I still have pits, scabs, and hyperpigmentation but actually I hope this will get better. If I don’t get zits, I can try to work on the other problems but I can’t battle it all at the same time! MY face is peeling off, but I don’t care, I figure a red, peeling face is better than painful, deep cystic acne with pits and black marks. I 100% recommend this product. Of note, I also use it with BP 10% from Vivant, Coral Kavi soap, and Olay face brush.

My skin isn’t too bad to begin with, I was essentially looking for a skincare line which was gentle, new to me, and contained mandelic acid. I’d heard so much about Mandelic Acid from doing online research and I figured it would be great for me…I was right!
I stumbled across Nucelle as it seems out of the limited number of mandelic acid companies, nucelle was probably the best known and best reviewed. I ordered their spa kit which contained Mandelic wash, toner, moisture shine control, papaya exfoliater, and 10% serum.
I used the toner, wash and moisturizer daily. And I would substitute the exfoliater with the wash every third day because I don’t really like to over-exfoliate. Since I started about 4 months ago I’ve noticed a real turnaround, Like I said my skin wasn’t too bad to start off with but now it’s definitely better and it’s definitely a skincare line I’m comfortable with and really like, which I had a hard time finding before. My main problems in the past were minor pimples, a bit of flaky skin and kinda sensitive.
The flakiness has subsided a bit and so has the blemishes too.
One other thing I like too is the shipping time. So far there hasnt been any long waits. I live in Canada and have gotten my orders within the week I order. Other skincare lines I’ve ordered from online this was sometimes an issue.

I’m a 17 year old girl with a little bit of blemishes and always looking for great products. I used Vivant Mandelic serum and had good results. They stopped selling Vivant so I then switched to NuCelle and really like their products. They have products for everything which is great. ! and I really like their moisturizers. Their 10% serums helped clear up some of my old blemishes which I’ve been trying to get rid of for awhile. I recommend this for anyone who wnts to get rid of their old scars and keep the face smooth and feeling great. One negative is you have to purchase it online…I don’t think ou can get it at Walmart or Target..
But otherwise great, I’m satisfied it works amazing !

Nucelle skin care line is fantastic. I started ordering their 15% serum in my late teens to help with mild breakouts. It helped alot ! Once my acne problems went away I continued using their Mandelic Acid cleanser and mousturizer. I cleanse and moisturize daily with great results. As a guy I get comments alot on how even and smooth my face is, a nice brand of product for anyone looking for better skin !

I’ve been using Nucelle’s products for about 6 months now. I started with the 10% mandelic acid serum to solve my acne. I had medium-mild acne and as soon as I started using this product I saw results. After about 11-14 days my acne was clearer than ever ! and my skin wasnt overly dry like some products sch as salicylic acid cleansers. After a few months I didn’t have any breakouts anymore, I was very impressed to say the least because no other product had this kind of effect. I used it Once daily in the evenings. After being impressed I started using some of their other products and continue to use their mandelic moisturizers and even their sunscreen in the summer. I had great shipping because I’m located in Canada and the price was well worth it because it actually works ! I would definately recommend this product especially if you’ve tried other products with little effect such as proactive, clearasil, neutrogena..etc

ORIGINAL 4/16/10 – I love this product line. I have terrible acne prone, acne scared skin with blackheads flakes and melasma. (nice huh!). I have been using GOW Mandelic 10% and I love it (really clearing out my pores and slowly evening out my skin tone. I was about 2 weeks in and am in the flakey period) I decided I needed a toner. Most toners make my skin tight and break me out. I read about Nucelle with Mandelic so I ordered some.
When it arrived it came with a very generous spa sample set.
Wash: I can’t say enough about it. Its a non-foaming non-drying face wash. I can’t believe how soft and moisturized my skin feels. And mostly it feels and looks clean deep down. Nice light spa scent too.
Mint Scrub: Just wonderful. My skin felt completely renewed. Its non ebrasive and super creamy. Keeps the skin feeling soft without feeling greasy.
Glacier Masque: A clay mask that really cleanes deep down without over tightening or over drying. I quit using clay masks because my skin felt way to tight, was red and irritated with most of them. This is the exact opposite. My skin feels calm and soft. (its thin too so a little spreads out and goes a long way)
Toner: Almost gel like. Very Nice. I apply with a cotten pad. Again this softens and seems to moisturize without making the skin feel greasy. My face feels super clean after this. (If I weren’t using the serum I don’t think I would need to moisurize)
10% Serum: Less drying than other brands I’ve used. Goes on nicely.
Antioxidant and SPF moisturizers: Moisurizing without clogging or sitting on top of the skin.
I haven’t been using long enough to see the long term effects yet, but I will post when I do. Overall My skin is less clogged right now, less blackheads and feels wonderful. A few people complained about the applicators or bottles, I actually prefer these pump style bottles. Very easy to dispense.
I would highly recommend the Nucelle line for anyone.
UPDATE 5/5/10 – Still using my samples (they last a long time) and my toner. Went through a terrible purge which my face is still recovering from , but wanted to stick it out. Still have some light peels, but its not the flakey kind of peels. Its more like skin comes off gently when I wash my face with a washcloth. I can see beyond my massive purging that my skin looks fresher. I don’t have a ton of clogged pores or blackheads…infact except for my stubborn chin there are none. It seems that once what’s left over from the purge goes away my skin will definately be brighter and smoother. (Problem is I picked and I have little scabs now – no more actual zits though) I will update once I clear a little more. I’m going to give it another week then I think I’m going for the full size set.
UPDATE 6/13 – I ordered the full size set and am so glad I did. I also ordered a 15% Mandelic for when my stubborn areas don’t react, I only use it about once every 10 days for an extra peeling effect or for blacheads on my chin. I am past the purge and peel stage and my skin is looking amazing. I am so glad I stuck it out and let it slowly do its job. My acne is about 98% better (NO zits, a blackhead or two here or there, this is a first in over 20 years), fine lines 50% better, texture 50% better (my skin is soft plump and glowing, I shed at least 6 years on my face so far), scars and hyperpigmentation about 40% better. I had some horrible discoloration from YEARS of melasma and scarring they are very deep and some were very dark. With the results I have seen so far I have no doubt they will continue to lighten.
UPDATE 5/2014 – I can’t believe I’ve been using this product for so long. I dropped it for about a year because I just couldn’t afford it and my skin went nuts. It was worse than it’s ever been. So I ordered another sample kit so I could afford the whole product line and my skin is really calming down. I have no new zits AT ALL but my skin has a lot of healing to do. This is gentle enough that I can keep the blackheads at bay, control peeling and dry skin buildup and heal all at the same time. I will never go without it again!

Using the 15% and it’s amazing. It took about a month but nothing (and I have tried most high end products) has been this effective. Great for acne and anti-aging. I haven’t had an issue with dryness or peeling–unless I layer on too thick. My pores are finally clear!

This a great product. I use this and the MaMa Lotion on alternating days. MaMa Lotion is a bit drying to use daily but Nucelle isn’t. I also highly recommend the sunblock that I really love. Only sunblock that doesn’t break me out.
