THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER MADE EVER. WHO EVER CAME UP WITH THIS SHOULD GET A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE. Miracle product. So I’ve had cystic acne for about 8 years now? Yeah. Not cool. I’ve tried pretty much EVERYTHING. Nothing taken orally, but pretty much all over the counter and a few times prescription. I got this with something called “Aczone” and an antibiotic prescribed by my new dermatologist. I had to use this combo for 3 months to see how I reacted. A month in, I had another appointment with my dermatologist, my skin was doing so good she took me off the antibiotic. So, I’d do aczone after my shower at night, then acanya in the morning. Sometimes, I’d forget to use aczone, and I’d use the acanya only because i’d use it before i’d put on my make up. My face reacted sooo well. It got kind of dry, but I’ve had dry skin before the acanya. I use a moisturizer every night and put the acanya on before. I was my face with any face wash.
I love it. I pay ~$35 and it lasts me 3 months so TOTALLY worth it. I have insurance though.

TWO WORDS: LIFE-SAVER.
This prescription got my skin back on track from six months of birth-control-induced-clogged-pore HELL. I kept trying to cure my horrible break-outs with holistic/homemade treats but alas, these exacerbated the problem. I use Acanya daily with Atralin at night and my skin has NEVER been so soft and so clear. The only thing I dislike is that it’s really pricey… $75 with my insurance 🙁 So I’ve made the switch to Daniel Kern’s 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide… same kind of gel consistency. I thought I would miss the Clindamycin ingredient but my derm told me that your skin can build up a resistance over time. I do continue to use Acanya as a spot treatment. I’m so thankful to this product for getting my skin glowing again!!!!!

I have suffered from acne since I was 14. I have tried all of the over the counter creams and potions. I have even been on several prescription creams with no success. I would categorize my acne as moderate; I have had several bad episodes of cystic breakouts. I went back to the derm about 6 weeks ago and started on a cycle of oral antibiotic, Acanya during the day and Tretinoin cream at night. Because of insurance delay I didn’t get the Tretinoin cream for several days but I was able to start the Acanya right away. HUGE MIRACLE!!! Within 3 days all of the cystic acne that I had was going away/gone and my face was starting to clear overall. In the 6 weeks that I have been on this cycle I have had 2…I repeat 2…small bumps come up and they only lasted about a day. The areas where I had blackheads…gone. I am so pleased with the results of this combination! At 42 I thought I was stuck with acne, but now my skin looks amazing. The Tretinoin is fading my old scars and I don’t even mind leaving my house without foundation. I hope that this combination works for so many others out there!!
