This is my first venture to body oil and boy what a disappointment. I love the scent but that’s about it. The oil is transferable and take ages to sink in to my skin, even after massaging it quite vigorously. Mind you it was advertised as exactly the opposite. To add insult to the injury, my skin condition got worse – my legs started to get so dry, patchy and itchy and the reason I bought oil is that I thought it would do a better job at moisturising than body lotion and also quicker. So I ended up having to put another layer of body lotion on top – doubling my work!!! Silly me to think that products will do exactly what they are advertised to do. I haven’t given up on oil though. I have just tried Caudalie Divine Oil and it really is divine. You pay much more for it but you really get what you’re looking for – quick absorbency, moisturising, smell heavenly but for £27 a pop.

UPDATED** I took off the second lippie after this gave me an allergic/sensitised reaction following a few days’ use. It’s not good for the skin.
I admit I was attracted to this because it smelled nice, and the inclusion of four natural oils (pomegranate, camellia, jojoba, geranium). So I need to address that in my review (I’m reviewing the pink version).
Yes, it smells nice. So it should, given that this product contains 10 listed fragrance ingredients in addition to the generic “parfum” which can contain loads more. The scent does not last, however. It could also be problematic if you are sensitive to scents.
The natural oils claim is so misleading it shouldn’t even be allowed! These oils are the very last on the ingredients list, meaning that they are present in minuscule amounts – fractions of a percent. The actual moisturising ingredients are the top three. The rest is just fragrance. The natural oils hardly “enrich” anything. No, I won’t buy this product again.

I like this oil so much! It has a nice sweet scent, which isn’t too overpowering. The texture is light to medium, as it goes on a bit greasy but rapidly sinks in. It makes my skin very soft and gives a good hydration. I prefer this oil over Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse in winter time. Mind you, Nuxe is still my nummer 1, but when I need that extra moisture I reach for this one. The packaging is clean, in a plastic bottle with a spray cap, extra bonus points!

Very good body oil in the DS/high street category. I love how this smells, it moisturizes very well, and it doesn’t cost much. Only con is the bottle, strangely shaped, you don’t have grip on it when you are spraying. I always spray myself from top to bottom and than rub it in.

Like most customers who bought this, I was after something more nourishing for my dry skin which has been suffering terribly throughout Autumn & Winter.
I was browsing through my local priceline in hope of a serum when I came across this product, liked the idea of having Almond, Rose, Macadmia & Argan oil in one bottle, I was interested enough to buy & try this out.
First off, the bottle instructs you NOT to spray directly to the face. I usually spritz one or two times onto a clean round cotton pad before applying it to my face in dabbing motion.
The texture that the oil leaves on the skin is a little slippery but if you pat in the areas of where it is sitting, the slippery feeling will go.
The spray bottle itself is nifty but definitely a no no for travelling since I found mine to leak whenever I knocked it over.
What it did for me was brought a little more glow & less dry patches which is exactly what I was after.
Unfortunately, this product can cause breakouts as I noticed a few pimples on my chin, so avoid acne prone area.
The method of application I do is followed in this order: toner, oil, moisturizer then make up if it’s daytime.
Overall, I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing as I feel that this product isn’t providing enough nourishment as I wanted it to be.

What attracted me to purchase this was the slew of oils (argan, macadamia, almond and rose) which are supposed to be good. I like the convenience of the spray and how it sinks quickly into the skin, leaving a subtle veil of scent. Makes my skin feel soft and slightly slippery but I found that it wasn’t moisturizing enough for my legs which tend to be very dry. Also what I found annoying is the shape of the bottle which makes it difficult to use with just one hand (as opposed to other bottles which tend to be cylindrical), combined with the slip, makes it tricky. In fact towards the last few months of usage I found the label sticker on the bottle starting to peel off so I had like silver flakes on my palms (I guess from the moisture in my hands after rubbing it in the skin?) and I’d had to wrap a tissue around the bottle to prevent that and the bottle slipping. Would I repurchase? Probably not, it hasn’t quite earned HG status for me and there’s plenty of other body moisturizers to try.

I love this oil the pink one smells like coco chanel mademoiselle exactly and that’s one of my favourite smells, all round lovely oil, I would just complain about packaging tho it can get very slippery and then make it a little awkward to spray anymore out of the bottle, a pour dispenser would have been better but that’s personal preference as a lot of people seem to be ok with it

Im in LOVE with this, i’ve actually ordered 10 more. I love the smell so much, it is like heaven on earth for me. I love beautiful scents and this for me is the reason why im so in love with it. It absorbs in to my skin wonderfully, i even use it on my face, it gives me a real glow, without looking oily, infact i have used many more moisturisers that are more oily than this oil. Overall i love it, leaves skin feeling softer, and feels wonderful to touch.. The smell im in love with just cant be without it seriously. The bottle can be very awkward to hold, but its not that difficult, for me, i dont mind it. I love it an have ordered 10 🙂

I was bought this as a gift as I usually hate body oils, they always take hours to dry in and don’t moisturize any better than a lotion.
I was pleasantly suprised by this oil. The scent is gorgeous, dries in fairly quickly and does moisturize however I don’t think this is as good as what it leads you to believe! I personally will not repurchase as I still think body oils are a waste of time. If you want a great multi purpose oil, I recommend Bio Oil.

I bought this oil on a whim, and honestly the main reason was its absolutely delicious smell. It has this divine, subtle, creamy scent that I just can’t get enough of. Unfortunately, while it doesn’t suck by any means, the scent is its best quality by far.
The texture is pretty pleasant, it feels light and not really oily, at least compared to other dry oils I have tried. I find that you have to be careful with the quantity because if you use too much on one spot it will literally just sit there for hours. In order for it to be absorbed properly, less is definitely more.
Furthermore, this oil does moisturize. Not better that a 4 euro lotion would though, and that’s a problem since it’s 8 euros where I live. And my biggest problem with it is the fact that on oilier areas of my body (top part of my arms, specifically), the scent turns rancid after a little while. I’m not totally blaming the product for this, because I’ve had the same thing happen with a couple of other oils and body creams, so maybe some specific ingredient it contains doesn’t work with my natural oil chemistry. Yet it’s still a bit of a bummer.
To sum things up, this smells wonderful and feels nice and luxurious. It’s not more effective than your average moisturizer though, and it doesn’t help that it’s really expensive on top of that. I use it, I enjoy it, but if I could go back in time, I wouldn’t have purchased it.
