Super expensive and only lasts for 19 days with every day use.
During those days, I noticed my skin getting much softer than it used to be. I think it also helped with some ingrown hairs I had, either by releasing the trapped hair or helping them come to the surface. I didn’t notice much difference as far as KP is concerned or skin tone evenness.

The packaging is beautiful. That’s the only point I’ll give it. This just doesn’t work for my KP. I had great results with the Amlactin Ultra Smoothing, but I can’t seem to source it anymore. This had great reviews so I decided to try it, but no dice. No matter how small an amount I use, this pills up which is gross all over my sheets at night, and it doesn’t reduce the bumpiness or redness on the backs of my arms and legs at all. I think the cream just isn’t rich enough and maybe this is the wrong active for me.

This is amazing. I’ve been spraying the backs of my legs with salicylic acid forever trying to get the bumpy skin to smooth out and to stop the breakouts with lackluster results. I used this for a week and my thighs are now close to bump free. Magic. It’s magic. It helps with some body acne as well BUT I don’t know if the lotion consistency contributes to some clogged pores and acne as well. I have some monster pimples growing under the skin on my inner thighs and some new breakouts on my under boobs (I’ve been applying this lotion all over my body). Its more a problem to me because I live in a hot, humid, sweaty country and lotions may overwhelm pores with all the sweat and clothes and heat.
All said and done this is fabulous and effective. I love the packaging. The price, cue the cringe because it’s high for a lotion, annoys me. I wish PC stayed around the prices they started with, but such it is. I’ll be looking for better priced aha lotions, but for now this is my bumpy skin solution. I’ll have to look for something else to help the breakouts.

Great packaging as always. The formulation is packed with silicones, however since it’s for the body I don’t mind. It doesn’t pill, even if I apply other moisturizers on top. Great for ingrown hairs, keratosis pilaris, uneven skintone and textural irregularities. Makes you so smooth! I will definitely repurchase. It says not to use on freshly shaved legs, however I haven’t experienced any irritation from doing so. It’s slightly overpriced (as most PC products), however it makes my skin really smooth, and the tube lasts forever (I use a couple of times a week). So can recommend, if you feel like splurging a bit 🙂 Try this and their 2% BHA spray for body also. (protip: both products can be used for face as well, for a cheaper price pr. ml. than their face products..)

I received a sample pack (4 ml/0.14 fl oz) of this product and it lasted me almost twenty days, which I’m very impressed with. However, the product itself did absolutely nothing for my skin except aggravating it. I used it on where I have closed comedones and I believe that the closed comedones turned into some big, red, painful, swollen pimples due to this product. Closed comedones will eventually become those horrific zits, this product only made it worse, and there still are a bunch of closed comedones left.

I was buying this in hope that i can use it to get rid of chest acne………..but turned out it’s too rich and caused more breakout within few days of using…..i think it doesn’t work for me because my body is not really dry….so now i use it on my knees, heels and elbows….they do make them feel smoother but i will continue to use it with more result.

Paula’s Choice Resist Skin Revealing 10% AHA Body Lotion is a light-weight translucent lotion. It is fragrance free, but with a short-lived scent that is typical of AHA-containing cosmetics, ie, a bit like vinegar. I love the texture, which is elegant, smooth and silky. It is easy to apply due to a high amount of slip, soaks in quickly, and leaves a skin-protecting barrier without feeling greasy. It is miles better than AmLactin on every point, and is somewhat like having my favorite CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion with the added punch of AHA. It is important to note that this product should not be applied to cracked, chapped or broken skin, because it will burn. When used on healthy skin, I did not have any irritation issues.
I originally purchased this product for the KP on my upper arms. After several months of daily use, there was some minor progress in eliminating the little bumps, and the skin on my upper arms otherwise was very soft and well hydrated. I switched to using a different AHA product for my KP, and started using Resist as a night-time hand cream instead. It definitely has softened my hands, evened out the skin texture and improved the roughness around my knuckles. I have found it is a bit too light for moisturizing very dry hands, but I don’t see any issues with occasionally layering a more emollient cream on top. Although I haven’t tried it as an all-over body lotion, I have no doubt it would be wonderful for skin tending normal to slightly dry. Overall, I think Resist 10% AHA body lotion is a winner, although it is somewhat less versatile than I had hoped due to less than desired effect on my KP. I would definitely consider it for repurchase, because I haven’t found anything else like it for quality of formulation and value.

This Lotion helped me with my pigmentation problems, acne marks on my back and arms! It isn’t sticky, sinks into the skin perfectly and is not drying! Due to the glycolic acid it does sting a little bit if I put it on my back in the beginning but that’s because it works in the deep skin tissue and is nothing you can’t calm down with moisturizer. The skin on my body is not really sensitive though. The price is a bit high but you can always order samples first to see if it works for you.

This has a high concentration of AHA and I have been using it instead of Dermadoctor’s KP lotion, which is similar yet more expensive. It is a very good body exfoliant. It has a good texture that absorbs well and will give you smoother skin with regular use. All AHA products have a scent but this is virtually fragrance free and does not feel sticky or tacky the way AmLactin does. The 7.8 ounce tube is a decent size. I use it 2 or three times a week.

At some point in the last year or so, Paula’s choice has quietly reformulated this body lotion. It used to be a thick, hard to absorb, sour smelling, mineral-oil lotion back in the day. The newest formula is based on silicones, silky smooth and lost that sour smell, yet luckily none of the effectiveness. It is not very emollient, so I sometimes follow with a thicker lotion on my legs and other dry areas. But as an exfoliant it works a treat. Used regularly, it keeps my skin soft and smooth, and helps keeping my KP at bay. Both effective and a pleasure to use. Hence I won’t complain about the price: $27 for 7 oz. I just make sure to stock up when it goes on sale (usually around $22 for a tube).
If you are looking for an exfoliating body lotion, I’d suggest you give this a try. Even if you tried it before and didn’t like it, the new formulation is vastly superior to the older one.
