I always get in grown hairs on my bikini area. I tried tend skin. But this is way better. In fact it cleared the bumps and revealed the trapped hair strand curled under

Average ingrown hair treatment product. Mine says + chroma bright. I will not repurchase. Still on the hunt for a miracle solution to those pesky ingrown.

This stuff is amazing! My esthetician suggested it since I’m prone to ingrowns after brazillian waxes. My bikini area was covered in them! Within just a few applications I noticed a difference in the irritation of the area. Within days I noticed some of my ingrowns had cleared and within a week or so it had brought some to the surface that had been there for months! It doesn’t totally prevent them from occurring again but definitely reduces. I was applying morning and night but have switched to once a day or everyother day since it’s caused a little bit of peeling along my bikini line. I’m going to try the chroma-bright next to lighten some scarring I have from previous ingrowns. LOVE this product.

My skin/hair type: I have extremely pale, sensitive Irish skin (lighter than MAC), dark, thick, coarse, curly hair and am extremely prone to ingrown hairs. If I shave or epilate (my skin is too sensitive to wax), I get ingrowns. Every. Single. Time. Spring and summer used to make me anxious and stressed because I knew I’d have to start shaving and epilating regularly — Which meant many inflamed ingrown hairs.
Enter PFB Vanish! I have been using this for a couple of months now and can’t express how much I love it. It truly and honestly is the one non-makeup item in my routine that I can’t be without. IT’S THAT GOOD!! I use it on my legs, bikini area and under arms and it’s worked wonderfully on all of those areas. I plan on epilating my arms tonight and will use it after that and I have no doubt it will work wonderfully there too.
I’ve tried Tend Skin and MiN and they didn’t work, stung like you wouldn’t believe and smelled badly. PFB doesn’t hurt my skin and while it smells somewhat like rubbing alcohol, it isn’t offensive and dissipates quickly.
The one thing I would say is that it can dry to a white, dry finish sometimes, so you may not want to use this right before going out in public. If you use it at night you may want to rinse it off in the morning so that your skin has a clean finish and the product isn’t visible.
Bottom line: If you suffer from ingrown hairs, YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT!! I’m going to order 2 more as backups (I’m almost out of my original bottle) and 1 for my boyfriend for ingrown hairs after he shaves his face.

Omg. Best product ever.
When I bought it, I had an area of painful razor burn on my leg from shaving the day before. So I rolled a line of it on there and went to bed. It burned for about a minute, and then stopped. The next morning all the redness was GONE! The area was a little dry, but it’s not like it going to moisturize and look perfect. That’s what lotion is for. I’ve tried alot of products before, and I am totally shocked at this. I bought the PFB Vanish + Chromabright, which is supposed to reduce skin discoloration that results from severe razor burn/ ingrown hairs. So we will see about that in a few weeks! You should definitely give it a try, the price is kind of steep, BUT it works so well that you wouldn’t need to use it very often after it clears up(which is apparently almost overnight!!)
LOVE!!

Fantastic stuff! I work in a spa and the estheticians swear by it. I’ve been waxing regularly for a bit now and always get some irritation and red dots. But once I started using the Vanish I got none of that- my skin looks completely normal after waxing. I haven’t done any shaving since I’m now just doing waxing and laser hair reduction, but they tell me it’s great after shaving as well. It does seem a little expensive, but since I can get it wholesale, I’ll probably just buy a big bottle that will last a while.

i don’t like that it’s a roll on. however, it does work very well and quickly. it helps to bring the hair to the surface. Will Cause Skin Peeling!

Oh my, I WILL repurchase this. I had a horrible (seriously – horror movie horrible) case of ingrowns after an unfortunate bikini waxing. Nothing worked; and I tried everything – AHA, BHA, Tendskin and whatnot. PFB helped tremendously and very fast.
I used to have ugly razor bumps and ingrown hairs after shaving my armpits. Used PFB Vanish literally 2-3 times – no ingrowns, no red bumps; and no razor rush.
I love that it comes in a roller bottle, like a roll-on deodorant. Very convenient to apply. Tendskin was too drippy which can create problems when you apply it to…certain areas 😉 Roller eliminates this problem completely. The consistency is watery gel (does it make any sense?); so it sticks to skin. Love that it does not sting at all.
Great product all around.
Upd 05/18/11: I had a huge, volcano-like cystic acne on the right chick (I’m talking *face*, lol). It was a 1st one in my entire life, so I had no idea what to do. Tried PFB on a whim, after looking at the list of ingredients. It worked; it worked just excellent! Pimp is gooooone in 24 hours. I wish I could add one more lippie.

if you’re prone to ingrown hairs and razor bumps, BUY THIS NOW! i do brazilian and underarm waxes because i am SO prone to those types of issues. I used tendskin for a while which did solve the problem but it was so crazy expensive, a pain to put on a cotton round (also left little cotton bits on my..bits lol), and made my fingers peel from this application process. a friend recommended PFB and i was skeptical because it’s quite a bit cheaper. WHOA it is a product i absolutely cannot live without. It comes with a roller ball applicator and is a liquid formula but leans a little toward a gel so it coats the skin and then sinks in. oh and here are the two best parts about this product.. 1. There is NO sting what-so-ever! after my first use, this made me even more skeptical because TendSkin was like pouring acid on the areas and then lighting them up with a match. OUCH! i actually had to brace myself. but this feels almost soothing and cooling. ahh. and 2. it WORKS!!!!!!! just as good if not better than TendSkin. it cleared up all my bumps with twice daily use and when they were completely cleared, i switched to once daily and i have been COMPLETELY clear ever since!! this is a godsend of a product and i really urge you to buy it if you use or have ever looked into TendSkin!

I love this product. I have dark, course hair that grows very fast and requires daily shaving/epilating. As a result, I get a lot of ingrown hairs and red bumps. I tried No-Bump, which wasn’t bad, but was difficult to apply. PFB Vanish is easier to apply, stings less, and works better than the No-Bump. Will buy again.
