Shopping online for Clarins hand & nail handcream and accidentally bought this.
This is the strangest hand cream I have ever used, initially the cream feels like its moisturizing, but without fail my hands always feel chalky and dry afterwards.
Would not recommend this at all, its horrible and this is a first for me, I actually threw the £15 tube away, waste of money

This is not a handcream!! it doesnt moisturise at all! Its bizarre. My skin feels exactly the same after I have applied this. I have stopped using it now. I am a big fan of clarins so I am very shocked by how bad this cream is. I love their “Creme Jeunesse des Mains” but this is not the same at all. I got this one as a present and would never dream of buying it myself.

This hand cream does not moisturise much but it does improve my dry wrinkly hands. At my age, I need all the help I can get. The best part in using this lotion is that my hands don’t feel clammy anymore. The price is very expensive and I have to think twice before purchasing again.

I think most of us agree it doesn’t really moisturise, I keep it in the office and sometimes few minutes after applying i dont have a feeling i’ve actually used it, so sometimes i end up thinking maybe i didnt apply at all?! it leaves my hands dry, maybe it does its job and protects my hands from ageing!

I like the fact this has SPF 15 but it’s a very runny lotion that leaves your hands both greasy and somehow not moisturised. I would almost go so far as to say that it makes dry skin worse.

I am still undecided about this hand lotion, even though I have used up more than half of it. I like it and dont like.
I think this hand lotion is not for those who need to really moisturise their hands. They claim on the packaging thjat it softens hands, I really havent noticed that, maybe unless you already have soft hands. It sinks into my skin really fast and is not greasy, as I dont use my palms to rub the cream in, I dont know if it leaves palms feel greasy or not. It feels quite light on my hands and I dont feel my hands are covered in cream, this its good during the summer. However, it does leave a bit of a shine on the hands but not for long. I like the SPF 15 (the reason I bought it, but could probably find cheaper hand cream with SPF), as I always have my hands exposed to the sun.
Over all this hand lotion is ok, but not for those who need a good moisturiser for dry hands.
im not sure I would buy it again, I have to try other hand creams with SPF to decide.

I like this and keep going back to it. The criteria I use to judge a good SPF hand cream are different from the ones I use to judge a good moisturizing hand cream. I don’t like my SPF hand cream – the one I use right before leaving the house to get into the car and drive – to be too hydrating and sticky. I don’t like the way that feels on the steering wheel. This one is quite light – a fluid really and not a true cream. It softens the back of my hands just enough for me to feel both protected and hydrated and ready to go. Really it’s about the SPF. If for some reason I need extra hydration I just layer it over my regular non-SPF hand cream. Size is good for the purse.

I can’t really understand all the hype about this product. To me, it is an average hand cream that has a strong smell. It sinks well into the skin, yes, but my hands aren’t soft enough after I use it. I can easily find other products that work better for the same price (Caudalie hand cream, for example).

I really love this hand cream! Personally, I like it better than the Hand and Nail Cream! It’s a non-oily light, creamy texture with an SPF of 15 that soaks right into the skin. I have never felt this “sticky film” everyone is talking about! I put it on before I drive to help protect my hands from those scary age spots.

Sticky and stinky. Feels good a few minutes after application but that’s the farthest it goes. Filmy and emphasizes lines on my hand. SPF normally dries out my hands and the spf in this lotion is no exception.
