ALL of the Lush products I have tried have been super awesome. This, Honey I Washed My Hair, Jungle, & Big Conditioner (+ tins) were my first Lush purchases. I’m giving away all of my liquid shampoo & condish to my mom coz I’m sold on Lush products. They make my 3A curly hair look curlier & less frizzy, also feels stronger & cuts the oil on my scalp. I can go between 2-3 washes a week with Lush. Brazilliant is a luscious citrus blend, goes perfect w Jungle conditioner bar & im hoping by wearing my hair curly (coaxing the curl coz I’ve flat ironed the hell out of my hair) I can get it strong & hopefully it will grow! All Lush smells so good & w this I think condish is optional but I like to condition my ends. Keeping it in the tin can be tricky coz it will stick but it sounds weird but I rub it directly on my head or scoop out a tiny chunk w my finger. I don’t know abt 80 uses thou, u don’t need much but I always end up using too much product trial & error chalk it up to! I will get the hang of it 🙂

This is my second-favorite shampoo bar, after Jason and the Argan Oil. Brazilliant has a nice citrusy scent that is very enjoyable. It lathers up without a lot of effort and rinses clean easily. It’s not very conditioning though: I have to follow up with a separate conditioner in order to be able to comb through my hair. Costwise, it’s good value for money: I’ve had my bar for just under a month and there’s still a lot left.

This was the very first shampoo bar I tried and it is fantastic. I have oily, thick, Asian hair, mostly virgin with a few bleached highlights. This lathered up very well and I was able to get enough to wash my waist-length hair by swirling it once over my crown, once down the back and once down the front of my hair. The amount of lather that comes out of this thing is frankly ridiculous. It rinsed out easily and left my hair feeling so soft that I didn’t even use conditioner. Lush claims that the bar will last 80 uses but I’m at around 10 and there’s only about 30 more uses out of it, assuming it doesn’t dissolve into mush at some point. I think a lot of it was dissolving from stray water sprays as it left a trail of orange from where I store it on the shower caddy. I’ve since kept it outside of the shower, only grabbing it when I’m shampooing and immediately place it on a wire rack outside of the shower to dry out once I’ve finished applying it. It’s a pain in the ass but it does seem to be keeping it from melting away at an alarming rate. The smell is a nice, clean orange scent but I find it doesn’t linger in my hair once I rinse it out. There is SLS in this, which is a little disappointing, but it doesn’t dry out my skin or break me out like other SLS shampoos are prone to do so I’ll keep using it.
Overall, it’s a nice product. There’s a lot more care and upkeep involved with it as opposed to a plastic bottle, but it’s great to travel with, and good value if you keep it dry. I will purchase again when I run out.
