I feel like it’s drying out my hair.

Great product! I bought this at Sally’s for 3.99 (small bottle). It smells wonderful, lathers well and leaves my hair feeling moisturized but clean. I haven’t had any buildup issues.

I love LOVE this brand. All of their products that i have tried so far have been amazing. The Olive Glossing shampoo and conditioner are my favorites. They smell so so good, and my hair has never been softer. And the “glossing” part is right, it leaves my hair looking so healthy and strong and shiny. I would definitely reccomend.

This is the best shampoo ever. I have medium curly hair and my hair has NEVER been softer or shinier or more manageable than with this line. I hate the way they smell, but they work absolutely amazingly. And you can’t beat the price! I am totally in love with this line. This shouldn’t be used on fine hair though, it would definitely weigh it down. The line wasn’t really working for me until I developed a technique for using it, but now it’s the only hair stuff I’ll buy. Here’s the technique I use:
Only wash when it starts looking greasy. Definitely not every day. If you need to wash it for it to look good daily, only use conditioner. Only use the shampoo every third day.
Only shampoo the roots, don’t touch the ends of your hair. Let it rinse through the rest of your hair, but don’t actively wash away from the roots. Repeat if necessary. Rinse thoroughly.
Use conditioner, focusing on the ends of your hair, don’t put any on the roots. Then take a large paddle brush and brush out your hair, taking small pieces and brushing starting at the bottom and then moving up. This detangles in a way that won’t break your hair. It will also get just the right amount of conditioner to the root area.
Then rinse out from the roots, and only thoroughly rinse the top part of your hair. The rest of your hair should be mostly free of conditioner, but leave a bit in.
Air dry.

I love love LOVE the scent of this particular line of proclaim and swear by the olive oil gloss, but this shampoo is far off key for my hair.
The label boasts moisturized hair after usage and promises to leave it manageable and mine was left completely opposite of the above. My hair was simply clean and in no better shape than before I used it. Seeing as how my hair has been through TONS of abuse (had my hair fried straight by a dominican salon stylist who man-handled my head like she was working a construction site, relaxed my hair on my own which I’ve never done and have been washing my hair almost daily these days) I need something that will really moisturize and protect! This also left so much static in my hair and I dunno what ingredient is the cause of this. I think I’ll leave this and its matching conditioner on the shelf at Sally’s where they belong.

I love this shampoo & the olive glossing conditioner. I bought it based on the great reviews it had on Sally’s site. My hair is long, straight, color-treated & very dry. This shampoo cleanses well and with the conditioner my hair is soft & shiny. It’s no longer a tangled mess of straw. I’ve been using the products a couple months, trying others in between. I keep coming back to this because it’s the best! The packaging looks cheap and it is an inexpensive product. But it’s quicly becoming my HG.

I have relaxed, colored hair. Did not like this product, with the conditioner, even though I have dry hair. Left my hair looking too limp and flat; would not hold curls.

After trying out fifty million hair shampoos and conditioners for my dry, coarse, hair, this shampoo is the best I’ve ever come across. And, the best thing about it is, it is dirt cheap and it actually does the job. My hair is moisturized, doesn’t have any frizz, and silky. This is my go to shampoo and conditioner. My days of hunting for the perfect conditioner and shampoo is over.

I love the Olive Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner. I am a user of high-end products for hair and i took a chance on a day in Sally’s, where I NEVER go. I grabbed these two huge bottles on sale and fell in love with this stuff. I specifically went looking in what was probably shelf intended for coarser hair as I’d had good luck with another ‘coarse hair’ product before…i found Proclaim, there. It wasn’t marketed for any specific hair type, but it was with coarser hair products, and also near the register, on sale. I LOVE this stuff. I’m Caucasian, with full, wavy, long, thick hair and this makes my long hair feel dreamy. My daughter is Asian, with typical straight hair and she, too, loves this stuff. And because of its easy price, I let her use it without cringing! I am a FAN.
I am back a year later to continue to sing its praises. My high end stylist told me, “whatever you’re doing, it’s working!” which was reassuring to me – I get sucked into the hair care hype, that’s for sure. So I’ve been using it for over a year and still love it. I took a break during the winter when I had a Keratin treatment and only used the non-sulfate (and PRICEY) salon shampoo but after six months I knew it had to be done, so I returned to a better price point (as in dirt cheap) and honestly? No difference! I use my flat iron (a GOOD one) and my hair seems as great as ever, and the Proclaim leaves my hair feeling fresh and soft. Wavy if I let go natural and bouncy if I style it. One caveat: I think it’s best for people with thicker, or coarser hair. If your hair is fine/medium fine it will probably be too much, and it may feel too heavy for you. Like I said originally, I did find it in the ‘coarse hair’ section of Sally’s, so just know that going in. My daughter’s hair is thick but not at all coarse and she loves Proclaim too. She does not need the smoothing like I do, and it works for her, but her hair is thick, while mine is thicker and wavy, so, it works for both of us.
I also bought and love Silk Essence, another ‘olive smoothing’ type shampoo and conditioner from Sally’s, and I alternate between this and Proclaim. So cheap and so GREAT. I think you can find good shampoo/conditioners anywhere. I’ve stopped turning my nose down at Sally’s, that’s for sure. I’ve never been happier with my hair since finding these two brands. I did love my Keratin-treated hair, but with my new BaByliss flat iron, I’m getting Keratin-like results, with NO $40 shampoo/conditioner only-use-this-brand dealio. It IS worth it to pay more for a professional grade blow dryer/flat iron/ and other such tools, but for me, Proclaim (and Silk Essence) shampoo and conditioners are my favs.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product!!! I got this for my daughter, who has long, wavy, straw-dry hair. Nothing we tried was working. The SA at Sally’s recommended it, as well as the accompanying conditioner. Within days, her hair was shiny and soft…we could brush it with no problems, it was straighter, and it generally looked like spun gold! Gorgeous! I decided to try it for myself, and it had the same effect on my thin, fine, very processed and heat-damaged hair, which is now much smoother and healthier. If you have dry or processed hair, you simply MUST try this!
