Phytocedrat is actually my main shampoo, but I use Phytoprogenium Intelligent Shampoo every now and then to balance the effects of Phytocedrat.
Phytoprogenium is a gentle shampoo for me as I have a very oily scalp and I use it whenever my hair needs a break from stronger shampoos. It leaves my hair soft and manageable.
As for the downs, I don’t find it a good everyday shampoo because it doesn’t fix my oily scalp very well. Also, it doesn’t lather as well as I like.
Overall, I do recommend this product if you want this as an alternative solution, or you have normal hair which doesn’t require much maintenance.

I cannot believe that it costs so much in the States: here in europe, it’s just €9… I have mixed feeling about this shanpoo: I love the scent (almond), and I like how well it cleans (for me no sticky residue like many shampoos with natural ingredients). & For first weeks, my hair looked shiney and healthy. However, after a bottle, my hair dried out a bit. In general I have very unproblematic thick brown hair. I am not sure whether I would repurchase.

I like this shampoo enough. Intelligent contains almond milk, marshmallow root, and oat, which is probably why it smells better than it cleans – at least in my experience. I love the slightly sweet, organic scent, which is mainly the reason I have it in regularly rotating in my regular stash. While it has those yummy ingredients that promise to promote shiny, healthy locks, it also contains sodium lauryl sulfate, which is something I tend to avoid in my shampoos, particularly because my long, Asian hair is prone to dryness anyway, and on top of that, I like to save and retain my ebony color for as long as possible. All in all, this $25 bottle of shampoo is nice, but nothing extremely extravagant – I say I’ll repurchase because I just may, but I certainly wouldn’t sing its praises above a regular old $5 (SLS-free) shampoo.
