This is the best shampoo I’ve used in years. I got a deluxe sample of this, and honestly, I probably never tried this brand because I think it’s pretty expensive. The scent is heavenly, and it’s very rich, so I only need a little–although I did cut my hair to shoulder length a couple of weeks ago because it’s been so hot. It didn’t strip my hair. Love this, and I need more.

I didn’t find this shampoo overly moisturising- i have thick hair. the scent is lovely and i did like the see through bottle but overall I wasn’t that impressed with this shampoo + conditioner combo, i wouldn’t repurchase as these products are also not cruelty free.

Smells good and cleans well but gently. Nothing special considering the price (at least in the US), and I don’t think the parent company is cruelty free.

This shampoo has an adorable joyful mango scent, it gives me nice, shiny hair, cleans very well and it make my hair feel nice and healthy.

I have long thick and curly blond hair that tends to have dry ends. I found this shampoo to be a good nourishing product for it, but I didn’t see much difference between this – a bit pricier shampoo from the pharmacy and regular cheap shampoos for dry hair. Of course the natural ingredience is what makes the difference here, also the smell is absolutely amazing, but the effect on the hair was almost the same. That’s why I stopped buying this shampoo and still am trying to find the perfect one for me.

I didn’t like this shampoo at all! I bought it after doing a home Keratin treatment, as I read it didn’t contain sodium chloride. This shampoo gave me horrible dandruff! And I never suffer from dandruff normally. At first my boyfriend tried it, he keeps his head shaved, and complained it made his scalp feel dry and tight. Alas, after using it a couple of times (I usually wash my hair every second or third day) I noticed I had horrible flaking as well. I switched back to my Aveda Dry Remedy shampoo and my dandruff cleared up in 2 washes. I so wanted this to work, as it is carried at Shoppers now in Canada and much cheaper than Aveda. But it was horrible for me.

I have long, straight, medium thickness, un-processed medium brown hair. My hair can look at bit flat at the crown at times and is a bit dry at the ends. I alternate between 3 or 4 shampoos and this Klorane shampoo is always in my rotation. This shampoo is great for dry weather and dry hair. It also is soothing to my sometimes dry scalp. It is very creamy and can even be a bit heavy or too moisturizing at times, so people with oily hair or scalp probably don’t need to use a shampoo as nourishing as this one. In my experience, how shampoos work really depends on the climate and water quality. When I’m in Holland (humid weather and soft water), this shampoo provides enough moisture so that I can go without a conditioner any time of the year – eg. this shampoo is practically all I need in my shower as far as hair products go. I can shampoo once, rinse, towel dry then air dry (sometimes I scrunch in a bit of hair texturizer like Kevin Murphy’s hair resort or Fekkai’s beach waves spray) and walk out the door with soft, shiny, bouncy hair. When I’m in a less humid climate like California, I do need to follow with a conditioner on the ends of my hair after shampooing. This shampoo smells wonderful, but the scent doesn’t linger after your hair dries. Like the first reviewer noted, it is silicone-free but does contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate. I try to avoid sulphates altogether in my hair products but this shampoo in particular has never given me a problem and is much more moisturizing than most of the sulphate-free shampoos on the market. Though I cannot comment on if it fades colored hair since I do not color my hair. I have repurchased this shampoo numerous times and will continue to do so.

This shampoo is the best thing I’ve found for my hair in ages. It has one very gentle sulfate (sodium laureth sulfate), no silicones, and no sodium chloride (so it’s safe for those of us with BKTs).
I have long, fine hair, but tons of it, and it tends toward dryness because I highlight it several times a year. The gentle sulfate helps get my scalp totally clean, but doesn’t dry out my strands and the mango butter is really nourishing.
If you’re in France you can pick up a 13oz bottle in any drugstore for about 5 bucks. Here in the US your best bet is drugstore.com where it is $18 for a 13oz bottle. Not cheap, but not as expensive as Kerastase or Bumble and Bumble or many others.
The shampoo leaves my hair totally clean, getting rid of build-up from the silicones in the styling products I use, but never strips it and even adds moisture. I’m in love!!
The smell is also to die for! It smells just like a fresh mango! No chemical/synthetic undertones at all.
Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!
