I love this! With curly hair, I don’t like to wash it every day–it gets dry & frizzy. This is perfect between washes. Unfortunately, the only place I can find it now is on Amazon and it’s WAY too expensive there. If Clairol quit making it, I wish they would bring it back ???? please!! I’ve tried other cleansing conditioners & I just haven’t found another i like as well.

I’ve dyed my naturally blonde hair red for years now, and anyone who has used red dye knows it’s a PITA to maintain and fades like crazy. I picked this cleaning conditioner up on a whim recently and I am really impressed with it.
You have to use a ton of it to adequately clean your hair (at least I do, haha), and you have to make sure to rinse very very well. I tried Wen years ago and this cleans my hair as well as Wen did, for a much lower price point.
I haven’t colored my hair in a month, and it still looks fresh and vibrant thanks to this stuff. The only negative thing is that sometimes I do need to put additional deep conditioner on the ends of my hair, as my hair is very course, and obviously processed too.

This is amazing! I absolutely love this conditioner. I currently am growing out my bleached hair (I have not bleached in a month). I just want to add that the red bottle of color me happy conditioner is amazing BUT I used it one time a few weeks ago and it made my hair feel like straw and I don’t have time for that. We picked this up at Walmart and I’ve been using it for two weeks. I have naturally thick, coarse, wavy, dry hair. This is a miracle for my hair! I absolutely will be using this as long as they keep making it!

I must say that this conditioner is the best for detangling and it also leaves my hair shiny…I have very fine, long wavy hair and even the salon conditioners don’t compare. A hair dresser told me years ago the best way to detangle and work the conditioner in to the hair is to use a pick and pick the conditioner through while in the shower as opposed to picking through after towel drying.

Why is this (obvious) conditioner listed under the shampoo category? Newbies will never be able to find it. 🙁
Anyways, I like this cleansing conditioner. But I wish I could give it a 3.75 lippie instead of 4. It wasn’t bad by any means, and I like that it didn’t dry out/strip my hair. But it didn’t amaze me in either aspect (cleansing nor conditioning).
The ingredients are decent (again, nothing amazing) and the price is right. It still might be worth it to you to try it out. I would only repurchase it as a light, everyday, conditioner.

I have thick, straight, bleached blonde hair and I decided to try this conditioner since its sulfate free, however, it’s too drying. Doesn’t leave my hair soft instead it leaves it feeling like straw. It does a pretty good job of cleansing, smells great, and I noticed my hair doesn’t get so oily right away, but still, too drying! The regular color me happy conditioner is wayyyy better and actually leaves my hair soft and smooth. I’m sticking with my Aussie 2 minute miracle conditioner.

I use Splat Luscious Raspberries to ombre my hair and I tried this in hopes of maintaining my color longer. I have super straight hair, oily roots and dry, brittle ends and I have tons of experience with sulfate-free and creamy shampoos so this wasn’t really difficulte for me to use. It cleaned and rinsed fairly well but the next morning I ended up with wet-looking and waxy hair. I have then switched to the As I am Cleansing Conditioner that is suppose to be for kinky and curly hair as that one cleans much better than the Herbal Essence and still conditions my hair without making it look super wet or dirty in the morning.

It’s really cheap and smells pretty good and I liked the package. That said, this product just does not condition enough for my long hair. It started to tangle and look dull. I have way more split ends after a month of using this and wish I had not used it. I can still see using it occasionally in winter when my scalp gets really dry as it did seem to help with the flakes I had on my scalp due to dryness but not regularly as it didn’t moisturize my ends as much as regular conditioner.

I love the scent & packaging of this.. but that’s about it. maybe I’m using too much product? It leaves my hair looking decent (not overly greasy) but it feels so weighed down and like there’s a lot of build up. I think I’d rather have greasy hair.
EDIT: I realized the product wasn’t rinsing out and was leaving a ton of build up in my hair. make sure to thoroughly rinse your scalp! my hair actually feels clean now. bumping up to 3 stars from 2.

LOVE THIS STUFF!!! Was searching for a good cleansing conditioner to try since I am trying to get away from using shampoos and needed something sulfate free and good for color treated hair. This stuff really does the trick, my hair is clean, bouncy, but never flat or greasy. This is my first cleansing conditioner, so I can’t compare it to any other brands but I really love this stuff so far. It’s a little difficult to find, being as it appears most stores seem to only have the Naked Cleansing Conditioner but I like that this one is specifically for color treated hair. The pump makes cleansing a breeze in the shower and I think it’s pretty cheap for the amount you get.
