Wonderful! That’s the word to describe this shampoo. I have thinning hair on the top of my head from over processing my hair for years, so I’ve been using super expensive Aveda products for a long time. I didn’t mind spending $30 a bottle but when the product doesn’t work it starts to hurt the wallet. So I was in Target and I decided to try this on a whim, and I’m insanely happy with it. My hair has never been healthier, it cleans my scalp very well and of course I can see little hairs growing back.
I cannot speak for the other products, but the shampoo is wonderful. The conditioner is fine as well, nice and light, not too heavy and of course the scent is wonderful.

I absolutely love this shampoo. It foams very well, clears my scalp great and it has a pleasant smell. I do not get any breakouts of allergic reaction. I found it for about $14 at Target US.

I am really starting to love this shampoo! I have very finicky fine naturally curly color treated hair. I always have trouble finding shampoos that work with my hair and scalp. If they are too moisturizing they weigh my hair down and many conditioning agents make my scalp itchy. This shampoo by itself was fine but I started mixing it together with Curls Unleashed as neither shampoo was just right on my hair but the combination has been wonderful! When I was just using the Hair Food shampoo by itself my hair was shiny & healthy looking but my curls & waves weren’t quite as curly as I like. That does happen for me a lot with many volumizing shampoos so if it’s not an issue for you then by all means, try the shampoo by itself. The other one for moisturizing had some great reviews on the blogs & reviews that I read too so if you are looking for a moisturizing shampoo try that one. Neither of the shampoos have sulphates, silicones or parabens in them, yeah! But the conditioners do, bummer. Anyway, this is a pretty inexpensive shampoo, about $11.00 for a very large bottle-17.9 ounces. It has a pump, it suds up well, rinses cleanly but I have always finished with a cold water rinse no matter what product line I used since I was a teenager. I have noticed that my hair is very shiny, maintains my curl well, it is not stripping the color from my hair and I’m getting good body and bounce. This bottle will last me many months and I definately plan to repurchase! I believe Hair Food is exclusive at Target as of when I purchased it.
