This shampoo is ideal for people with frizzy hair. It makes my hair smooth and manageable like I’ve had a professional blowout. However after a while it begins to build up weighing your hair down. I used it occasionally like when I need my hair to look sleek and put up without going to the salon. Biggest con is that it makes my hair fall out crazy! the amount of hair shed in the bathroom is frightening!!!!

The product I use is ADVANCED Total Repair 5 so this might be an upgraded formula (the package is black/gold). It’s an extraordinary shampoo for moisture and it compares to any salon or high end product. I use the conditioner and weekly mask and I’m very impressed. I noticed that it contains benzyl alcohol but it is lower on the ingredient list and I hope it doesn’t dry out my hair with continued use. It does contain sodium laureth sulfate which I think has been falsely labeled as damaging to hair. Chaz Dean made a mint on that falsehood (I’ve researched it) until I suppose people started losing hair from WEN. For a few bucks this is really good stuff.

Looove this shampoo. One of the few sls shampoo’s that doesn’t dry out my hair and makes it look like straw. It makes my bleached hair shiny and smooth and not many products can do that! Especially great with the matching conditioner. Tried many expensive high end shampoo’s but they did not do what this shampoo does for me. It’s my go to atm!

I have used this product at my mums house when I didn’t bring my shampoo and conditioner with me. Ever since that wash, my hair felt so smooth and light. I loved it. I decided to purchase the shampoo and conditioner as I went back to uni from Christmas break. My hair is naturally dry and frizzy. However after using the product range, it felt so smooth and light! Plus it smells really nice- fresh. I usually leave the conditioner for about 3-4 minutes and it works wonders. I have repurchased the product and would recommend for someone with dry hair to try it out. It’s worth it in my opinion.

Someone gave me a full bottle of this and since I hadn’t bought a shampoo for the month yet, I decided to give it a shot. I have tried both drugstore and high end shampoos and I have to say that I like this one so far. It lathers well, the texture is not too heavy, my hair is soft afterwards and the scent reminds me of flowers. However, it doesn’t add shine or repair damaged hair as written on the bottle. Still, it’s a good drugstore shampoo that I will be continue using for the time being.

I have been searching and searching for what feels like years for a perfect shampoo. I have found some that come close , but one thing or another always happens. Either I get build up after a while, or I get dry hair. This is the first and only shampoo that has actually transformed my hair.
I have very long, dry, tangly and frizzy hair. I was always trying different products such as shine serum, creams, gels and never liked the results.
With this shampoo, I don’t even need conditioner, let alone any other products! My hair is shiny, soft and smells incredible and this effect lasts until the next wash! It blows my mind that a shampoo can be this good, it literally transformed my hair. There is no heavy feeling (I thought there would be with this shampoo so I avoided it for a long time ) it feels light and soft yet there is zero frizz in my hair even in the middle of humid summer!
If you’ve been curious about this shampoo, please try it! I want to throw away every other product in my cupboard since I tried this! It’s that good!

I bought the shampoo conditioner and another tube of cream and I also had the deep conditioner. They were all disappointing. I only bought the product because i had just lightened my hair and it was really dry but I needed a product specifically for REPAIR and this product did not do that. The Loreal Elvive smooth intense did a much better job but I had high hopes for this product and it just let me down. Probably need to go for something more high end for the condition my hair is in.

Ok shampoo, certainly better than the conditioner. Inexpensive. Nice scent that does not linger. Leaves hair clean but not too matted or anything. Does make my hair frizz at the top though so I won’t repurchase it.

Comes in a tan and red bottle. I got the matching set. I have never use the ElVive line, only the Vive line in the states, and hated it. Never the less-it’s NOT the same as the colorful crappy cheap Vive line. This is a wonderful shampoo and conditioner duo. It brought my hair literally from the brink of death.
No joke, I mistakenly thought I could go dark brown al la kim kardashian wrong!!! So wrong. It made me look terrible, so I got super blonde highlights in it the next day after being turned down by multiple salon’s who said they wouldn’t do untill a couple weeks went by. Finally a salon agreed, (I could tell they just cared about the fact I was a paying american customer) I had been professionally getting blonde highlights in my hair for ten years. I was 12, now I am 22. I would dye my hair dark a lot too, and get bored and go back blonde. But anyways. My hair was damaged after I got it done at this shady place, although I loved my hair, they did a good job. It was really a lot of dramatic blonde and dark brown lowlights. I just fueled my inner Christina Auguilar,circa early 2000’s. It eventually faded to light brown and blonde highlights.
But Back to the shampoo. Love it. First I found it kinda awkward to work with and couldn’t get a good lather, my hair was sucking a lot of product up. I got the hang of it, and would put my head under the shower a second to get more water mixed in with the product to get a good lather. I have fine but thick-some what oily hair and wash my hair almost everyday I live in a hot climate and my hair gets all sweaty…
This shampoo has a clean nice scent, I smell every shampoo/hair products in the store before I buy. Elvive smells really good. You can tell the shampoo is more moisturizing that the average shampoo, and has vitamins and keratin in it. It didn’t dry my hair out. Im so happy I purchased this shampoo. It’s creamy and awesome. If you are weary of the Elvive I promise you it’s nothing like the Vive line in the states these formulas are awesome. I got my in latin america, but I believe it’s the same overseas, too. I have never seen this in the united states.
