This is formulated for only the most dry & damaged hair. Unfortunately, I found that it made my hair too soft and limp. The shampoo and conditioner smell amazing and impart lots of shine but I don’t need this intense level of moisturization.
It’s a bit hard to rinse out. The conditioner also makes my shower floor extremely slippery!
That being said, I enjoy zero frizz now. Which is kinda cool since I haven’t been frizz free since my hair started curling later in life.
I do love the scent though: I smell warm cedar, nutty oils, tobacco flower, vanilla and other luscious florals. Not for me, maybe once a week for the moisture, but lovely to smell.

I really needed something nourishing for my dry, knotty hair. This just did not deliver. I was expecting it to make my hair slick and smoothed out, but it made my hair more knotty, even when I used the corresponding conditioner. It wasn’t until I used the oil that comes with the line that my hair is detangled and smoothed a bit. I had better luck with this Garnier Smooth shampoo, it made my hair too smooth.
Only redeeming factor is that this smells amazing! I’m going to use it up and then try something else.

I bought this product because it was on special. I prefer salon products, but at the moment I do not have the money, so I am testing various drugstore products marketed at dry, damaged hair. I felt the quality of the product was decent. It is far from a salon quality product, but at the price one can hardly expect it to be. It did not dry my hair out excessively but I am a bit concerned about how much it lathers. It feels very soapy and I wonder if it would not dry out my hair were I to use it continuously. It claims to nourish hair, but I did not feel that it did this for my hair. I would rather avoid drugstore hair products if possible, but at the moment I cannot afford professional products. The packaging is attractive and looks expensive (which is in many ways irrelevant but it makes me feel good). It left my hair nice and clean, without irritating my scalp. Although this product is not prefect, I would buy it again if I needed or wanted to save money.
Buy if:
-Your hair is mildly/moderately dry.
-You are not expecting a salon quality product
-You want a reasonable (but not excellent) product at a fair price.
-Attractive packaging is important to you
Don’t buy if
-You are after a salon quality product.
-Your hair is oily
-if your hair is very dry you might do better if you buy a conditioner from the Dove range.

It works OK, but I’m always trying new drug store shampoo’s, so I probably would only purchase it again if there wasn’t anything else I was interested in trying. It didn’t dry my hair out, it isn’t expensive, it smelled OK, but it didn’t make my hair any shinier than any other shampoo’s that I’ve tried before.

I want to let people know this is a near exact dupe of Redken Diamond Oil or Diamond oil High Shine down to the scent! No kidding! Redken discontinued the Diamond Oil High Shine and this has the same performance and scent!

Perfect price, perfect smell, perfect shampoo. I’m used to Kerastase but now that I’m on a budget and this really saved my hair. I even loved it more than Kerastase. No irritation whatsoever. My hair felt clean and soft. I turned to L’oreal because it owns Kerastase right now and provides products with the same quality but less expensive.
Updates:
Warning: This caused my hair to fall out like crazy. this is one of the main reason why I always insist on updating reviews after a period of time of using any product.

I really enjoyed the matching shampoo and conditioner combo.
It worked really well for my hair.
I do have to say upon the first couple of uses I was not blown away but I did like the scent.
It was after a week of use that I really started to notice a difference in my hair.
It smells lovely. Reminds me a lot of the VS Amber romance body spray and a little bit of a buttery sugar cookie type scent without being too strong and annoying.
Together this shampoo and conditioner work well to help soften my hair, detangle, and add some shine.
Again it did not happen right away it was with continued use.
After about two weeks my scalp really calmed down a lot compared to other shampoos.
I think maybe the oils helped to nourish my scalp a bit.
I would definitely recommend you try it and I will be repurchasing these again for sure.
UPDATE 3/2019
I think the formula changed, seems to be a different oil blend now and this no longer works for me.

This is a holy grail product if ever there was one. I love this shampoo and the corresponding conditioner. It is helping my dry hair become soft and manageable. It smells good and is fabulous. I purchased the big size at Target and you cannot beat the price. I will definitively buy this again. Edit: Removing one lippie because it can build up on your hair and you have to switch shampoos for a while. I still like this, but Garnier Whole Blends Argan Oil is better for a go-to shampoo.

One of the best shampoos I tried, bettee than most HE products! My hair was very damaged and after a few uses it changes dramatically. Very recomended!

This product left my hair dry and my scalp itchy. It’s really hard to rinse it out. On the plus side, it smells nice
