As I say in all Deva-related reviews, this line saved my hair. For reference, it’s boticelli with some waves, or 3a that becomes 2b/3a when too long.
I LOVE this NOpoo. After the first use my frizz disappeared and the snarl/tangled mess vanished as well. I use exactly as directed – I put it on my fingers and then massage my scalp like nobody’s business.
For those who say it doesn’t clean, you need both the NoPoo AND FRICTION! It’s your fingers that loosen the dirt/debris/whatevs in your scalp, not just the NoPoo, because there’s nothing nasty in the NoPoo to strip your scalp of everything!
Anyway, then I rinse with my head tilted back, so the NoPoo goes through the length of my hair, while continuing to massage my scalp. I don’t put any poo through the ends at all!
I’ve noticed that my hair stays clean. I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and no greasies or anything nasty. Maybe for that last day before a wash day, I’ll freshen up with Mister Right (I’ll post that review soon).
Updated to add: I use the DevaCARE line instead of the DevaCURL line because the curl line smells bad to me (I hate roses), and the care line has a delicious, orange smell. Plus it’s better for colored hair!

Absolutely in LOVE with this shampoo and wish I had tried it years ago. I have naturally wavy super frizzy and pouffy textured hair that expands like crazy when air hits it and has made my life so stressful in jsut trying to keep myself looking groomed. I have in the past decade spent gods knows how much trying every shampoo/conditioner/mask/serum/oil/treatment from drugstore to natural to high end just to try to get my hair to semi behave and not make me want to burst into tears styling it. Nothing has ever worked and I have always hand to depend on hot tools to look semi presentable. I was really about to give up completely being so frustrated until someone on teh hair board really urged me to try this. I had seen this line at Ulta for years but just couldnt take yet another product dissapointing me so never tried it. Let just say big mistake. This No Poo is truly what I always wanted the WEN products to be for me, in simply hyhdrating, moisturizing, and balancing your hair and scalp to complete health without weighing down your hair or causing buildup over time. It truly works and for teh first itme in my life I am enjoying my naturally wavy hair. Can’t wait until it gets my hair back to complete health. It is worth every penny and not a complete ripoff line Wen is imo considering you can only order online and have to use a billion pumps for it to Who in the worl can afford to keep up with a product like that and for me it only weighed down my hair. I will only ever use the DevaCare No Poo/One Condition/Arc Angel Gel for the rest of my life and feels likeso much weight has been lifted off me in being able to clear out my shower/get rid of my salon size amount of products that had failed me over the years. Why do we always run across what works after we spent so many years and dollars on everything else lol. Cant recommend this line or product more and thats saing something from someone who never thought she could live without lather! 🙂

I have coarse, curly hair that I relax and BKT every 3-4 months. I go to the gym every other day for 2 hours. I SWEAT when I go to the gym, so washing my hair (not just rinsing) is a must. I’ve been using sulfate free shampoos but they still stripped too much moisture from my hair.
I had used Deva Low Poo (in the green bottle) before but it left my scalp itchy- must’ve been a reaction to an ingredient.
On a whim I decided to try the Deva CARE No Poo. I really like it for post gym days. I still need to alternate with shampoo (sulfate free) OR clarify about once a week or so (still working out how often this will have to happen).
The one drawback to this product is that I feel as if I have to use quite a bit to get my scalp really clean. However, the health of my hair is not something I skimp on, so if this product continues to leave my hair soft I will re-buy.
