The texture of this primer is definitely cool and I like using it. I especially like the packaging and look of the product! However, it’s a middle of the road product for me.
It does blur some of my pores, but I can’t say it does anything for my foundation’s length of wear (I’m an oily skin gal). It definitely doesn’t make my foundation look bad, but it hasn’t done enough to make me think, “Wow, look at my skin!”. I’ve had that reaction after using other primers so I know it’s possible!
I personally wouldn’t rebuy, but I don’t mind finishing up the product I already purchased (if I was that eh it would have been a return) nor would I say no if someone randomly gave it to me. Take that as you will, maybe it’ll be a holy grail for some people!

I’m someone who doesn’t like primers, in general. I have issues with dry texture and enlarged pores on my skin, and with pretty much every primer I’ve tried, they worsen one or the other of those problems (or both) or melt off, or pill, or itch, or just make my makeup look heavy and cakey, like it’s very obvious that there’s an extra layer of product. I haven’t tried ALL of the primers out there of course, but enough of them (Lancôme, Clinique, Smashbox, Benefit, Nyx, Urban Decay… I don’t even remember) that I just thought primers are not for me.
BUT THIS WORKS! It doesn’t make my pores disappear completely, but it does make everything look (and feel!) much smoother and more even, and if I’ve properly moisturized, it doesn’t make my skin too dry. It makes my skin look blurred and soft and nice. It makes my makeup last longer, it doesn’t pill or itch or irritate.
It comes in a very cutesy little jar and has this funny, whipped texture. It kind of looks like a tiny tub of pink ice cream when you open it up. Not everyone is going to like that kind of packaging, but the product is really good. It needs a couple of minutes to soak into the skin before you put foundation over it.
I ordered it from Winky Lux online, and even with shipping to Europe, I thought this was affordable (19 USD + shipping). It took around 3 weeks for it to arrive, but that’s how it is sometimes with international shipping. It really lasts you a long time; I’ve had mine for a couple of months, used it maybe every other day, and it looks like I’ve barely touched it. You need so little to cover your ”problem areas”, just a tiny, not even a pea sized, amount.
I never (really, never) take product advice from beauty YouTubers, but thank you, Tati Westbrook, for mentioning this and somehow making me want to try it.

This is strange, magical stuff. It’s unlike any primer I’ve ever used. It has the consistency and look of pink frosting. It comes in a jar with a lid like an eye cream or something. It also blurs pores and mutes redness like nothing I’ve ever used. FANTASTIC, you can see it’s working before you even put the make up on. Keeps make up on all day. It’s really important to give the primer a minute or two to soak into your face, otherwise you’ll end up with an unholy mess. This has the same power to keep makeup on my face that NYX angel veil does, but I think it does a better job of blurring pores. Look for coupons and offers. I got this for 30% which made it priced like a drugstore primer (From 20 down to $14). Winky Lux is a small brand, mostly sold online, but the order got to me fast and their customer service has been excellent.
