I received a travel size sample of this. In Canada, it’s called “Perfecting Primer”. I don’t normally use primers, but the ingredient list suggested it is hydrating, so I have been using it in place of a daytime moisturizer. It is a thick, rich cream with a fresh scent, which I like. It has a satin finish. It works well with sunscreen, which is less white and streaky than it can otherwise be. Foundation applied nicely on top of it, but it didn’t seem to do much to maintain a smooth finish and after four or five hours the foundation was emphasizing fine lines and pores. The foundation had not set (probably because of the primer) so I was able to smooth it out. It seems like the primer stops other products like sunscreen and foundation from setting, which might or might not be appealing depending on what you’re looking for. The primer does seem to be good for maintaining an even hydration level. My cheeks stay moisturized while my t-zone does not get shiny. Overall it is a nice product which I might use again, but it wasn’t amazing.
Edit: After using this daily for a couple of weeks, my fine lines seemed somewhat smoothed out, and foundation was lasting all day with breaking up. It might have been due to other products, but it might have been due to the hydration this provides.

This may be packaged as a primer but I find the product to be more of a moisturiser. It reminds me of a Sukin or Swisse moisturiser. Thick and emollient but to much so to be a good primer. I don’t find this helped ensure longevity of my foundation and being an oily skin this didn’t help.
I think this may have been designed to go along with their mineral powders which I had used for years and liked. But unfortunately I don’t think this one is for me.

I love the Nude by Nature foundation so much and really wanted to love this product. The texture feels nice and light, which is good in a warmer climate or if you get a sweaty face. I find the scent too heavy but not unpleasant. It smooths in easily and my skin absorbs it very quickly, so no waiting before applying concealer. Unfortunately though I find this irritating and drying to my skin even though I apply it over a good layer of moisturizer and sunblock. I don’t find it makes any difference to the appearance of my pore size and doesn’t minimize my lines at all. Basically it’s a heavily scented gel moisturizer that doesn’t agree with my skin and is a disappointment to me.

Made me break out, and didn’t really allow the makeup to stay long enough either.

This stuff is wonderful. My skin feels so much smoother when I put it on. When I am getting ready to wear a lot of makeup, I make sure to smear this all over my face and eyes, and it makes my skin so much smoother and easier to work with. It also feels really moisturising. It doesn’t really do anything else, like control oil or make your skin matte or glowy, but it really does help to achieve an airbrushed finish.

First I have to say I love NBN Mineral Powder Make-up. I have been using it for years and is great for my oily and acne prone skin. So I thought I could make it look better by trying the primer.
The primer has a nice texture and packaging, though the hole in the top should be smaller as it is easy to get to much product. It has a somewhat strong scent, but it does fade rather quickly, but it did irritate my eyes after applying it at first. It goes on well and absorbs quickly, so you do not have to wait long to put on your make-up.
I am very oily in my T zone and have enlarged pores there as well. I also have the first fine lines starting as i am almost 45. I usually have to blot my face a few times a day, but not until about the three hour mark for my first blotting.
This primer made my make-up go on well, but within a half an hour i was an oil slick in my whole T zone. It made my mineral foundation cling to my fine lines therefore highlighting them too much. I blotted, but I was still shiny. I just could not get rid of the shine without applying more powder, then i was shiny again in a half an hour. After a few days it also started breaking me out on my cheeks and around my nose. I had to discontinue using it.
I would only recommend this primer to people with dry to normal skin. If you are slightly oily it may make the situation worse. I am not sure if this is due to the multiple natural oils in the formula or not.
I will not buy this product again, especially since it was almost $40 here in New Zealand and all it did was make my skin worse.

I love this freaking primer! I’m 13 and don’t wear a ton or makeup. It is one of the only primers I’ve tried so experience isn’t exactly on my side but I still love this so much and I would recommend this to anyone. If doesn’t feel oily or leave a residue on my skin and keeps your makeup staying all day long. It’s thick but not too thick, it lasts a long, long time & isn’t visible on your face, It also makes your skin matte, soft & makes your skin look healthy under any amount of makeup, the price is a little high but that’s only because I live in AUS and everything here is expensive 🙂

I got the trial kit from nude by nature where I paid $14 for a brush roll to keep and able to try most of their products for free. I really liked this mineral primer, I have oily and sensitive skin so I am always on the lookout for mineral based brands to try out. This primer is fragrance free which is great for sensitive skin like mine. It smooths the skin perfectly and makes foundation/powder last much longer.
