I actually use this as my undereye primer(for concealer). A lot of hydrating primers make my makeup smear around my eyes but this one doesn’t. It makes my skin feel and look like smooth hydrated luscious skin. Once I add my concealer they both melt into each other and look so good. If you need hydration this primer is perfect.
I’ve just repurchased my 2nd bottle so to me it’s a gem. It does have a fruity sandalwood scent however it doesn’t bother me at all. It fades away but it’s there for sure at first. Make sure you know that before buying.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this primer. The packaging is plain Jane , a bit deceiving, but the product is soothing on the skin and helps my makeup stay on. My skin looks so healthy after applying! It feels like a moisturizer/primer combo. The formula is more like a cream to me with some tackiness to it. The only thing I don’t like about it is the tube. It’s easy to squeeze out too much.

First Aid Beauty recently released their new Ultra Repair Hyaluronic Hydrating Primer. This primer has a lot to offer, especially for people with normal to dry skin. If you have oily skin I would recommend using this in place of your morning serum or moisturizer. The Ultra Repair Hyaluronic Primer has a lot to offer. It creates a nice even canvas for foundation application, helps extend makeup wear time, and prevents skin from becoming dry during the day. The First Aid Beauty Primer prevents my long-wear foundation from clinging to dry patches and flaking.
I recommend applying the primer after serum and before sunscreen (unless you use a foundation with SPF). If you don’t like to use foundation this does give skin a nice dewy-radiant finish. This has a gel texture and a little goes a long way. My only criticism is that First Aid Beauty did include sandalwood which gives the Ultra Repair Hyaluronic Hydrating Primer a bit of a scent. The scent does dissipate in the first minute or so, but this would be better without it for those with very sensitive skin.
During the winter I have a difficult time using long wearing foundations. They will apply nicely and look okay at the beginning of the day, but by the end of the day sometimes they look terrible. Certain dry skin areas will be flaking off or look very patchy. When I started using this primer it alleviated the problems I was having with long-wearing foundations.
First Aid Beauty has included several beneficial ingredients in their new Primer. They have included green tea extract, aloe, licorice root extract, sodium hyaluronate, melon fruit extract, apricot fruit extract, vitamin e, feverfew extract, and more. The Ultra Repair Hyaluronic Hydrating Primer has a lot to enjoy, and it is affordable at $28 for 1.7 ounces. My more detailed video review can be seen here: Y
