Although packaging is super cute, the product itself is a fail for me. Make sure you don’t pump this product while it’s standing straight. You must hold it facing down or it will spill and make an oily mess!!! The consistency is exactly like oil. I have tried this product on and off for more than half the year. I keep giving this product a second chance, and it keeps disappointing.
I do my usual skin care routine, and apply this “primer” over my last step, which is my lotion ( my absolute favorite:Pacifica cactus lotion). I use very little of the “primer” since it covers your entire face with just about 2 pumps. This just sits on my face !! It does not absorb into the skin At all, even if I exfoliate and use my Korean skin care masks…this product doesn’t want to go anywhere ,but sit on top of the skin. You’all look like a big grease ball… not a fresh Dewey loook, just greasy…& it feels greasy too.. I have used it during winter days and hot days, this product is just a no go for me. It’s an oil, not a primer. I would save my money on this product. My makeup separates very badly around my noise and mouth area because of this. I have used the Pacifica foundation, along with many other foundations such as maybine for example

I bought it because I love Pacifica, and I’ve been in a “primer phase” lately, so I’m trying all different options. This is an unusual product. It feels nothing like any primer I’ve ever tried, and the closest thing I can think of to compare its texture to is a face OIL. This is as watery as water itself. It’s clear, and it’s oily. At first I thought it might be a “dry” oil, but, nope, it’s greasy. If I use too much (you need only a drop…and I mean one drop), this is greasy-looking, shiny, and it makes everything melt. However, when I use only a little, tiny drop (which is difficult because this squirts out of the pump and leaks everywhere), this gives my skin a nice texture and works as a primer. Rather than try to perfect this stuff every morning, I plan to use it as a “night treatment”. It’s mostly vegetable oil and emollients, so it’s a great moisturizer. If you have dry skin, you should try this; esp. if you (like me) are sensitive to dimethicone primers (cystic acne). The packaging for this needs to be re-engineered. I think it would be best in a dropper bottle. This is called “Rose Gold” probably because it contains rose stem-cell extract. This primer has a very light, gentle rose scent.
