I purchased this for $5 in the “to-go” small squeezy tube at my local Target. I have large pores, and I like things with Tea Tree oil (which this has). However, this has wayyyyy too much glide/slip for a primer to be “pore filling”. I applied this in a small amount to just one side of my face, and there was no blurring, no porefilling. It was too greasy to do so. I then went in with my foundation on both sides of my face, and immediately I saw issues on just the side with this primer, vs. the side of my face with absolutely no primer. I had foundation settling into my lines, and it was clumping up on drier areas on the side of my nose. The opposite was pristine – which had no primer. I had to completely wipe off the one side of my face with this primer and redid it with no primer – and my makeup looked fine.
Donated. Just not for me and doesn’t do what it claims. I should have known that having an ‘oil” in a “poreless” primer is almost impossible. Oils (or anything serum-like and shiny) do not fill pores, but emphasize them. I do however, like ELF’s Oil Control liquid lotion – which has Tea Tree oil – that stuff I buy several at a time.

this is a really good primer for getting rid of pores and smoothing out your skin. it does have a weird smell to it but its not overpowering and is a little oily feeling but that seems to be a thing with elf’s older primers.however the end result makes up for it because it does everything it claims to do. you can get a small or a large bottle of it which is nice for if you like it enough after getting the small bottle.it also has some skincare benefits, such as vitamins A and E.
this is definitely one of my favourite poreless primers as its not drying or anything like that. very inexpensive and shouldnt be hard to find online or in stores as long as they carry elf products.i got the small bottle for only $6. i do recommend this if you dont mind primers with a scent and want something that will blur pores.

I cannot get this to do anything but feel greasy and accentuate every flaw. I dunno if I’m using it wrong, I just apply it to my face like any other primer, but this one just sits on my skin and ruins my makeup. My foundation pills up and wipes off in patches, and what’s left looks splotchy and cakey. I used this today and then applied my brand new (and expensive!) Tarte powder, and this stuff gunked up the applicator and contaminated the powder too >:| Made me mad enough to write a bad review lol. I know this is cheap but it’s just not good.

I really love the way this makes my skin look. It goes on well and really minimizes pores and blurs skin making skin look flawless. It even does a great job at mattifying the skin and doing away with shiny spots. I also have not had any issues with clogging or breakouts from using this product.
The price is totally right for how well the product works. I love the space age looking packaging and that its an easy pump container. My only complaint is the feeling it leaves on the skin.
My only complaint is that it does not absorb into the skin that well. Leaving a filmy, weird feeling and layer of product on the skin. Hours after if I touch my face I can pull away a greasy feeling left on my fingers and hands.
Its wonderful but just don’t touch your face.

I bought this product after watching a makeup tutorial. I have never used primer before and thought it might help adding to my routine. At first this was awesome, I loved the way it glided on and it made my makeup just beautiful. Then I started noticing my face started itching. Ok, I thought it was because of the weather or something else. Then the other day, i noticed it feeling itchy right after putting it on. I thank God, havent broken out but now my cheeks are very dry and itchy. I am going with out makeup for a few days to see if it clears up since I get married in 7 days and am terrified of my face looking like a wreck. I wont use this again, I think the tea tree oil is too much for my skin.

Goes on really smooth, and creates a smooth canvas from my huge pores and oily skin, so that’s a win. Has a slight scent, but really not a problem. Smells more tea tree oil, than overpowering floral. Lasts for ages!

I picked this up at Target after seeing a couple good reviews. At first I was worried, because I also read the stories on here of people developing horrible skin problems because of this. I believe this product used to have all sorts of parabens in it, but the formula I got has none. This primer makes my skin very smooth, and a bit slick. I use it underneath the Covergirl Outlast 3-in-1 foundation (which is the bomb) and it looks great. I have somewhat oily skin (but before priming I wash, tone and moisturize). There is a scent, but it’s the scent of tea tree oil, which is in my shampoo, face wash, and my home made astringent, so it doesn’t bother me at all (and is good for clearer skin). So far I haven’t experienced any negative effects from using this primer, and my skin has gotten clearer, but I also just started strictly following my skin routine day and night.

I wish the packaging a bit better but the product itself is AMAZING! I pump about half a pump on to my finger rub it together between my fingers and press into my tzone first and then rub it around my whole face. I found this way works the best. It controls my oil so well. Before I would just pump it onto my hand and rub around my whole face but I found that warming it up between you’re fingers and pressing it into the skin has actually helped. I usually get oily around the 5 hours mark but this primer gets me through to about the 7 hour mark before I have to blot. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I am amazed at how smooth n delicate it makes my skin look. I don’t care about the packaging n I don’t think anyone else would either. The price n quality is what matters to me n this one here has got it!

Ugh. Might have made my pores a little smoother, but was greasy and made any foundation (yes, even silicone-based foundations) just slide right off.
