I love this primer. To note, I dont wear foundation, just under eye concealer and face powders (bronzer, blush, etc) so I like primers that allow for the longwear application of powders, something for them to stick to. This does that…i use it almost as a moisturizer and it makes the skin feel like silk….and smoothes pores and keeps me from getting oily. It may not be “strong” enough as a mattifier in the summer…because I do get very oily in warm weather…but its a great moisturizer/primer for the winter…love and will repurchase.

I love this primer. It keeps me matte but also natural. It helps prolong my makeup and prevents cracking/ creasing, It’s perfect for under eye my eyes. I love the consistency of it, it’s not oily and not dry but somewhere in the middle. It keeps me matte for an extra bit of time, my forehead, nose chin and cheeks need slight touching up about 7 hours into my day (usually work.) I love the packaging also, it’s simple and easy and clean. my only complaint with this is the scent— it fades quickly but it’s def annoying, florally. It’s gross.

This used to be called Beautifully Bare 3-in-1 makeup base, but ELF updated the name. I wanted to try it out, but it sold out on ELFs website. However, my local Walmart had it!
Unfortunately, this didnt even make it to my face. I applied a bit to my arm to test- but the smell of the product was SO strong, I immediately had to wash it off. Even after doing so, i started to itch all over. I am extremely sensitive to smells, this is strong. Too strong for my face. Reviews said it was a “soft rose scent”- no. Its stronger than that. I couldnt see parfume listed in its ingredient list, so it must be something else that makes it so pungent.
If you are weary of rubbing a smell all over your face that doesnt go away, stay away from this. (I use ELFs exfoliating face scrub which has a soft apricot scent and that doesnt bother me on my face at all- so a soft scent isnt bad, but this product was much stronger. Almost floral.)
