This stuff is pretty good! I am 51 with puffiness, dark circles and crepiness in my undereye area. I have tried many different concealers. This is one of the better ones I’ve tried. It has a thin texture but covers pretty well and doesn’t accentuate the crepey lines too much. It seems to have reasonably good staying power, although I have not yet tried it out for a 12hr shift. I have been using my NYX color corrector first and then applying this. The spf is also a big plus. I paid $24 for this at Sephora, which is comparable to or less than what I have paid for several other concealers I did not like nearly as much.

This concealer definitely brightened the area under my eyes, hiding the darkness that comes with age and lack of sleep, but you could still sort of see the blue hue underneath. I usually extend the concealer slightly past the dark areas, almost executing that crazy triangle method of applying concealer, but not as extreme and not all the way down my nose. I had recently purchased a yellow concealer that I tried under the Laneige concealer and that helped cancel the blue. This Concealer alone may be too bright or white for some, especially when the color options are rather limited in the US. I like how this concealer brightens the undereye area, but I like it best with another concealer that helps cancel the actual blue/purple hue I sometimes get with undereye circles. I also use the Laneige cushion in Light, so I would apply the cushion over the concealer to blend/even the color out. The cushion concealer is definitely lighter/brighter than the cushion compact.
This also helped cover up large red pimples that appear occasionally on my face. For this, I would put a strong eye primer like NYX on the pimple, a dab of Laneige bb concealer, tap to blend, top with powder. Sometimes I would do this process a 2nd time. This really helped keep the concealer on, even on my nose where it can get pretty oily during the summer (even though I have generally dry/dehydrated combo skin).
The staying power is great, but work quickly to blend before it starts to really stick/stay. I like that the texture isn’t runny or too sheer. I also like the convenience of a pen container. When working with potted concealers, it can be troublesome and get into your nail if you don’t use a q-tip. When I use wand-style concealers, I feel like I always use too much product. As for the cushion portion of the pen, I would use it to apply the product initially in the areas needed, but to really blend the product out & finish up, I use either a beauty blender, cushion pad, or my fingers. Apparently you could highlight your face using this stick, according to their website, but I feel like with my skill level of makeup application, I might end up looking like a lightbulb or I would glow in the dark.
I think I got this on clearance for about $10 at Target when they were clearing out their stock and I also received a gift card back so it ended up being free. I would repurchase if it’s $10 again. However, at $20, I would go test out some drugstore options or another kbeauty/jbeauty brand first.

I’m one of those people whose skin and makeup life experience has changed entirely, for the better, since Korean makeup became widely available in the US. For years I battled grease from all the French brands loaded with moisturizers that weren’t right for my skin. While others looked lovely in “tinted moisturizers”, I had cystic acne. BB Creams seemed like the “obvious” answer for sunscreen/skin care all-in-one, but, when they first appeared in the US, BB Creams were re-named tinted moisturizers, loaded with greases, and non-physical SPF. I finally found Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control (in Medium-Dark), and now I’ve done something I’ve never done before…I’ve purchased concealer.
I have tried concealers in samples, or with theatre makeup, or the kind that has acne medication in it. If I ever needed undereye brightening, I used BeneFit LemonAid, but only occasionally, because it gives me milia. I have very “hooded” eyes, and I’ve been concerned that my eyelids never get any SPF or soothing ingredients. Other makeup products I’ve tried didn’t work on my lids. I love the BB Cushion, so I decided to try this concealer, and I am truly excited about this product!
It applies like a dream and leaves a beautiful, even, perfect-skin finish beneath my eyes and on my lids. It brightens without glimmer and it softens the sensitive skin around my eyes. It gets rid of discoloration on my lids, and, best of all, it has mineral SPF 30. I love applying this because it feels cooling and refreshing, and it looks so good it seems like liquid magic.
The packaging, application, and formulation are all top notch. This performs like the luxurious makeup that it is. The pen applicator pumps out liquid into a cushy, sumptuous sponge. Then you pat the sponge on areas that need coverage, and lightly blend the liquid (if needed). This is the first product I’ve ever used with this type of applicator, and I think it’s brilliant.
My Target has two color choices on the shelves: Light, and Medium. Light is very light (NW15ish), and pink-toned, and Medium is still rather light, but it’s peach-toned, so it brightens my skin and mutes dark spots. This is an excellent buy, and I can’t say enough how happy I am to have access to Laneige’s spectacular line.

My favourite concealer to date! I purchased this about a month and a half ago while overseas (I bought a ton of Korean beauty products so if you’re interested in that, check my reviews on MUA as I will review once I’ve tried each product for a few weeks!) and I haven’t stopped using it since.
It’s the perfect creaminess – dry enough to go on red and angry spots but moist enough to be used on the undereye area without highlighting fine lines while lasting the whole day without getting sweated off or ruined by my more oily areas. The opacity is also ideal – fairly high coverage already but defintely buildable.
The pen itself feels like good quality – it’s a metal tube with a clear meter on one side so you know exactly how much product you’ve got left. The dispenser area is not a brush pen (like Rimmel’s Match Perfection or Clinique’s Airbrush Concealer) but rather a “flocking puff” – it’s essentially a soft fluffy ball end which the product comes out from. As it may get unhygienic, I usually click the pen and then smear it on the back of my hand before applying it to my face.
All in all, I really love this concealer – to the point where it’s now a staple part in my routine where as I use to only conceal on really bad spots. This concealer conceals and brightens in the most natural way possible which I love! I will continue to repurchase this one for as long as they sell it.
For reference, I use shade #3 which is the darkest shade. Like most Korean products though, shade range is limited. I’m generally a NC25 and this is the perfect shade for me.
