Didn’t do anything for me. Didn’t cover pores or moisturize or make my foundation last.

This review is for the Photo Focus primer. Same looking packaging. This goes on smoothly (lotion like) and mattifies shortly after application.
It doesn’t help in the long run, though. It doesn’t fill pores, it doesn’t really extend or improve makeup wear time for me.
I find a good setting spray works better.
I have a couple of uses left in my tube and the best use I found for this was using it as a mixer for full coverage foundations.

I had low expectations with this primer, but it did keep me matte longer. I have a very oily t zone and I wasn’t as slick at the 6 hour mark as I normally am. It doesn’t really hide pores, but I don’t have enlarged pores to be fair so I cannot really comment on that. I think it is a bit drying once it sets to the face but I found particular moisturizers can combat that issue. Not a fan of the packaging but it was less than $5 so I can’t really complain. I’d recommend to anyone with oily skin. No break outs yet and I am prone to them, hoping it stays that way.

This is a pretty early review. I’ve had this for awhile and sort of forgot about it but began wearing it under my Maybelline Fit Me matte makeup and it really prevents me from getting shiny. It’s amazing. The first primer that actually does that. I see the complaints about breakouts and I’ll have to see if that happens (here’s hoping not) but for oily skin…this actually works!

Gave it 2 stars only because it miraculously didn’t break me out…Absolutely hated the finish of my BB & CC cream with it, looked very unnatural and mask like.
Pros: super cheap; didn’t break my sensitive acne prone skin; no uncomfortable smell
Cons: oxidized my BB cream, made me look like 00’s babe; gave an extremely unnatural and cakey look
No repurchase, sold mine on web.

This is one thing Wet n Wild disappointed me with. This primer feels good on the skin but that’s all it does. It makes my makeup move around, nothing sticks, and everything just slides off. I returned it after one use.

I love the packaging and the price but the performance is not great. I tested it out on half of my face and felt that the side without the primer actually looked better – smaller pores, less powdery, smoother foundation. It wasn’t a huge difference but it was enough that I felt like wearing this primer was worse than wearing no primer.
It has a really nice feel when you first put it on – smooth but also kind of dry in a mattifying way. It didn’t help with oil control, didn’t fill in fine lines, and didn’t even my skin tone. It might have slightly slightly brightened my skin.
I’m still searching for my HG primer….

This primer is okay. I have normal, a little on the dry side skin type. I don’t like spending more than $6 on primers because to me it’s a waste of money so when I saw the price for this, I immediately just bought it. I break out occasionally from new products and I didn’t break out from this so that’s good. It definitely helps my foundation stay on longer but it’s not amazing. However, you do get what you pay for so I wasn’t expecting anything magnificent.

This will do.It’s better than that other crap I tried.nyc primerl??? Not as good as Maybelleine baby skin? Or smashbox …or those type. It’s like a lotion that disappears.I just needed something cheap….It will do.

I’m sorry, so very sorry Wet n’Wild! I love your blushes, powders, bronzers and eyeshadows, so why did you do me so dirty with this primer? The price drew me in and the fact that this is a reasonably priced and rather moisturizing primer are all I can say it did for me.
The primer is not heavy in silicones, it almost has a lotion-like consistency which makes it sink into the skin rather than form a barrier between the skin and the foundation. It is not bad as a moisturizer, actually, but as a primer it didn’t do much for me. Within an hour my foundation was creasing and after a few my pores looked HUGE- I swear they’re not that big!! If they are, I’m in trouble!!
Like I said, this was a convenient buy that didn’t set me back much money and my foundation did originally go on pretty smoothly. Over the course of the day, this kind of failed me. So sad! I love WnW and always want to approve of all their products, even though I know that’s unrealistic.
