Despite the bad reviews, I still picked this up while grocery shopping. I needed a powder as I had used the last bit of Benefit Georgia (which I adored) and this seemed to fit the bill as a lightweight powder. I am NC15 so the pale color was not a worry for me at all.
Despite checking in natural and artificial light, I can only detect a small amount of glitter (and then it is very minimal, just a couple of pieces here and there despite a liberal application of the powder over my foundation.)
This only mattified a little but did make my skin look more even. As for oil control – this has no effect. My nose and chin are still as oily as ever and this powder makes no difference. But it is not marketed as a shine control powder so I was not expecting much. I still have to reapply this powder as I would with any other, so I doubt I would purchase this again.
I have found some pretty good powders over the years, but this does not do much of anything. It is ok for wearing for short periods of time, but for all-day wear this falls short.

This stuff was so not worth the money.
I am fairly new to makeup, and this was my first setting powder. I have combination skin, with my t-zone being slightly oily and the area around my mouth being very dry. I’m fair-skinned and basically just needed something to keep the foundation on all day.
First of all, this stuff is sparkly. I’m fair, so it didn’t show on me, but I can imagine even slightly darker girls having issues with that.
Second – it clung to my dry patches and made those areas look INSTANTLY cakey every time.
Third – the packaging sucks. It’s bulky and the brush it comes with is terrible.
Finally – it did nothing to keep my foundation on all day, or even a few hours.
I used this product for a month and a half, so I gave this its fair shot. It’s now in my garbage can.

First off, the packaging is an eyesore. We don’t need a scratchy little brush included in this powder and it just creates too much extra space once you take out the brush (and toss it right in your garbage). The powder itself is also so damn terrible – it’s not translucent at all and it made my foundation 2 – 3 shades lighter than it actually is. The powder also clings onto fine hairs and dry spots on your skin. I had to blend the hell out of it to look presentable for the day, before it greased up within 6 hours.
It’s not worth the ~$20 CDN I spent…
