   Is this expensive? Absolutely! Is it worth it? if you can afford it, yes it is. I prefer to use this with a brush, but it looks natural and doesn’t look cakey or settle into pores (ideally you would use a primer with it though). The color selection isn’t amazing, but it worked for my skin tone. It has a natural matte finish which as I said is not cakey looking.

   I love this foundation! The best foundation I have ever used was Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Natural Perfection, but sadly there wasn’t a shade pale enough for me in the UK, and I am not the palest shade in most ranges, usually the 2nd (yellow/neutral). Having read good reviews of this powder foundation I thought I’d give it a go. I have the 01 pale beige. Having open pores on my nose and cheeks with an oil break through on my nose, I wasn’t sure the powder wouldn’t settle into the pores. It doesn’t. It’s light and gorgeous. I don’t use it on the under eye area, I use the Guerlain Precious Light 01. This foundation wears well. Inevitably I did get a shiny nose after some hours, but I always do, even with primer, but it wasn’t obvious and still looked glowy and nice. I think the bad review re break out and patching was because the reviewer used it over a liquid foundation. No need as this is a foundation. Overall very pleased.

   I’m an NC42 (MAC Face & Body C4/C5) and wear this in 04 Beige Moyen / Medium Beige and 05 Beige Fonce / Dark Beige — depending on how tanned I am. Sometime I use 04 and dust a bit of 05 over the top for a warmer effect.

   The finish is lovely — not too matte and not too dewy. It feels very light on the skin. I don’t need extra concealer or too much product to get a nice, even finish. I don’t need that much coverage so the level of cover given by LdP works for me.

   It beats Bobbi Brown powder foundation, which I also love, because the finish is even nicer. I would definitely repurchase even though it’s expensive. The packaging is very posh and pretty.

   Terrible experience with this powder, broke me out completely, very cakey, patches after a few minutes of application on the top of my foundation (YSL), can’t recommend this product on sensitive, dry skin like mine.

   This is the best foundation powder I have ever used. ( shade 03) Have tried so many brands like Chanel, Dior, Shu Uemura, Shiseido, MAC, Nars, MUF, Bobbi Brown… Guerlain Lingerie De Peau works like a miracle, it provides the best coverage and never cakes when I touch up throughout the day. Fantastic!

   Wow that what I told SA at Sephora store. I try shade 03 over Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation and wow by the flawless look that it gave. This cost $66 at Sephora. I used all high end foundation powder and this is the best coverage out of all the powder foundations that I wore, very natural looking, very fine like silk texture. I wish US carry more shades selection, UK are so lucky that they got way more shades than the US. Try this out worth every pennies that you spent.

   It doesn’t break and crack on your skin like other foundations such as Mac Dior it stays perfectly and doesn’t look heavy on the skin.
