This foundation is a brilliant and unique idea for those times when you spend the night with your significant other and the make up`s got to come off, but it`s a relatively new relationship (or you just want to keep the romance alive in an old one) and you feel naked without it. I don`t dare speak for all gals, but in my case this is true. I hate wearing regular make up because it`s just too much and unhealthy to wear all night, so enter this foundation. It`s all natural, organic, free of additives and it has been designed just for this purpose. It doesn`t have to be washed off, it lets the skin breathe, it provides a sheer coverage, just hides shine in unwanted places and absorbs sebum so it looks like my skin, but better. I apply it after cleansing and after all my other products (lotion, serum and moisturizer). If I`ve had a particularly bad day, there`s even a primer (also a powder) that you can apply to make this last longer and give slightly more coverage. It`s a white translucent powder, so since I am fair, I wouldn`t venture a guess if this would be good for darker complexions. But it is a Japanese base, so I imagine at least medium skin tones can pull it off. It`s never broken me out and I adore it because it`s made me feel more confident. I add a touch of a blusher from the same line and a tinted balm and it`s the perfect no-make up make up.
