I don’t at all get the hype. Imagine a blend between a mild highlighter and a face powder, that’s what this is. It doesn’t show up as glowy, but it somehow has chunks of sparkles in it. Ugh, and super overpriced.

I’m N22/25, and this makes an amazing finishing powder on my neutral/combo/mature skin. I prefer buffing this right over my base(before powder blush & bronzer), but I do also like the look of using it at the very end with a big fluffy brush. I’m all about natural looking/glowy makeup, and this provides that! Amazing quality product.

This is one of my go to highlighter. It’s not the one that will blind your eyes, it is very subtle and looks really pretty on your skin. It’s not too much and when i want it to be a blinding product i will mix it with my liquid highlighter and its such a lovely combo.

I loved this. I use it as a finishing powder for the whole face and it really made my face glow subtly, and it looks healthy and supple in photos. It is not as strong as a highlight so I wouldn’t use it for that. I think you’ve got to know what to use it for or else it wouldn’t look good. I would definitely repurchase. I used mine til there’s none left on the palette and it lasted me for really Long- about a year.

A beautiful bronzer for pale skin!

I hate that I bought this product. I fell for all of the hype years ago when it first came out. Years later, I still don’t know what to do with it. If you use it as an all-over finishing powder, while it may look somewhat pleasant in certain romantic lighting, it looks absolutely hideous in broad daylight. It accentuates every blemish, flaw, crease, line, and actually makes my pores look enlarged, like I have craters on my face. And my pores aren’t THAT bad. If you’re under 30 and have flawless skin, it might work for you. I suppose it might also work as an extremely expensive, subtly shimmery eyeshadow. It doesn’t really look all that nice on me as a highlight. It looks chalky and powdery in my opinion. But if you’re into highlighters with very little shimmer, this might be OK for you. The packaging quality is great and you do get a lot of product. However, I can’t justify the price of this product because it doesn’t look nice on everyone and I find it very one dimensional.

I bought this because I was looking for a highlighting powder that wouldn’t make me look glittery, or like I had obviously applied something sparkly on my cheekbones. This is perfect, it’s like a very subtle but light-catching sheen. No chunky glitters! I really like layering it over Benefit’s High Beam, it makes it last longer and adds just a touch more highlight to it. Only issue is the price (it’s expensive), but the packaging makes up for it and there’s a ton of product in there.

Absolutely beautiful powder. I use it as a highlighter and it gives me the most natural glow. It makes my skin look lovely and healthy. I have sensitive skin and I have not had any breakout which is brilliant!! I would not use this powder as an all over powder because it is luminous and it would give to much of a shine as a full face setting powder.

I use this as one of my final steps. I put it under my eyes buy dabbing lightly with a brush. It brightened up my under-eye area and does not settle in fine lines and gives a very nice hue do my under-eye area. I will definitely buy this again

ATTENTION DRY SKIN LADIES WHO WANT A LUMINOUS GLOW – THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!
So after seeing a million Youtube raving reviews on this product, I knew I had to try it. I have relatively dry skin and opt for a dewey, radiant, and fresh faced look most often.
I steer clear of face powders because I find that they take away from the luminous complexion look, but I wanted to find a powder that would not cake and keep my “luminous finish” while still prolonging the wear of makeup. Well, this simply is not possible), I have discovered.
I settled with the “luminous glow” shade, and tried it with a bunch of different foundations and application techniques. Can I just say it does virtually NOTHING good for my skin ?? If used as an all over ‘setting powder”, my face becomes dull and muddy rather than glowing and luminous as the description brags. My makeup looked great with only a little bit of setting powder under the eyes (NARS olympia) – As soon as I swiped (a little) bit of this stuff on, I immediately regretted it.
This seems to be a gimmick to me. With its beautiful packaging and clever shade names, its no wonder people go nuts over this stuff. But let me tell you if you are looking for a luminous glow, opt for a moisturizing foundation with a good primer, some nice concealer with a touch of setting powder under the eyes, some glowy blush and a nice highlight on the cheekbones (think any of the loumanizers by the BALM). Set it all with a setting spray and you won’t feel the need to drop $$$ on this useless powder.
Having said all of this, PERHAPS this could work for people with oily skin…but for people with dry/combo skin, I would NOT recommend this product – it’s a waste of money.
In fact, I am going to stick to my normal / favourite makeup motto of NO all over face powders to continue rocking my luminous glow.
Glad I returned this guy.
