Kyoto Pearl is silvery/pearly shimmer polish. It’s quite streaky and I find that it’s not easy to apply. You need 3 coats to get a good true color if you want your nails to look exactly like the bottle. It doesn’t look very elegant but it’s okay to try as it’s not too expensive. I won’t buy this again though.

Like other reviewers have mentioned this is a pretty shade of silvery pearl with moderate shimmer. I do like the colour, but have found other brands that have similar shades that work and look better on my nails for far less money (Sally Hansen, Rimmel, Wet n’ Wild). I have found the only time I can wear this particular shade is when I have perfect nails after an extensive manicure, otherwise it hi-lights any imperfections and looks streaky and sloppy. It looks the best on my nails after 3 coats, but that requires more drying time which I hate waiting for. I have found this chips quicker too compared to other OPI polishes I have tried. Personally I won’t repurchase.
