I bought this polish several years ago. It was my first purchase of an Essie nail polish. I love the color but it did streak just a little on my nails; therefore, I would then apply another coat until it became overly thick and then had to remove. No matter what I did, it streaked. I ordered this from Ebay, so I’m thinking that maybe the polish was a bit old. The only reason I would not repurchase is because I have other brands of polish that i use that are almost the same color and can be applied a bit smoother. But, I do love Essie and their color choices are great.

Wow! Looking at the other reviews I was surprised to see this has been around so long. Purchased a couple of weeks ago from Walgreens, which has lowered their price of Essie to $5.99! and I assumed this was a new color. Can you say rose quartz? This (two coats over base) is beautifully sheer, but when I hold my nails next to my strand of Rose quartz beads, I match! I have had a problem with sheer Essie shades streaking in the past, but not this. I have already purchased the backup. The name is really a joke — this is anything but high maintenance since any chips barely show. Update — purchased 3 backups of this polish and when my first was getting really low, I opened a new bottle to find it was a nude pink, nothing like my first bottle. The other two are the same nude pink. I contacted Essie and they responded that Hi Maintenance is not a rose quartz and gave a couple of recommended colors. I would love to know what color I purchased first.

A very lovely, natural looking sheer light pink. Hint of iridescence, lots of shine. Needs at least three coats but even then still not quite opaque. Goes on smoothly, dries quickly without bubbles. Lasts well. Another winner from Essie!

Really cute and simple, its like a slightly tinted, clear nailpolish

This is way too white and streaky. Does not even compare to my beloved sheer Sugar Daddy! Will be giving this one away!

I’m on my 2nd bottle of this! Love it…sheer pale pink, very close to mademoiselle but a tad more pink and opaque.
This looks pretty when paired with Essie Waltz or Marshmallow for a very feminine & polished mani!

This is a YNBB pale, sheer pink that is very natural looking on my PPP cool-toned skin. 2 coats is still sheer and this is a good choice for a French or American mani. A little different than Mademoiselle. Love it still in 2017.

I really adore this polish, it’s one of my favs so far. It’s a very light pink that’s slightly build-able. One coat is basically invisible, 2 coats is slightly darker, but I think 3 coats gives a very pretty faint pink color. Application was super easy and so far it’s wearing well. 4 days now and no chips. (of course I use my zoya base and top coat, which might affect the durability). Overall, awesome color for a MNBB look and I would definitely repurchase.

I love this color! It’s my new go-to sheer pink. It gives my nails a polished healthy pink wash and it’s easy to wear. I wear this with my nails short. It’s very milky and applies smooth with no visible streaks. The easiest do-it-at-home manicure to maintain.

this color is gorgeous!! i’m very fair and have relatively short nails, and it’s my new favorite color. very sheer and shiny, polished and feminine. i use 2 coats and have seen from my friend that when it chips you can’t tell much. i LOVE this.
