Really love this when its freshly applied, but I find it becomes dull and almost foggy as the week goes by.
I second the “use a base coat” comment below – I tend to avoid wearing this because it’s such a hassle to get off!

I’ve had a few silver foil-type polishes like this before but none of them really impressed me. This one is definitely an exception. Great formula, opaque in one coat on my short nails, lasts for a long time. Be sure to use a base coat because some of the silver flecks like to stick on the nail like glue when you remove it.

Heavy Metal is a beautiful satin finish chrome polish originally released with the Hot Flash Metallics collection for fall 2012. I picked this up at Walgreen’s for $1.99 which is a bargain. This is a beautiful silver polish full of shimmer and sparkle with a polished satin chrome finish. The formula on this is fantastic and this applies smoothly and evenly with no pooling, running, flooding or streaking. Best of all, no brushstrokes! This took 2 easy coats to get complete opacity. The polish is a little on the thin side but easily manageable. The brush on this is small and narrow and it doesn’t fan out much for application, but it flexes well and applies the polish with precision. This is so pretty, and I am loving the shimmer and sparkle in this. The wear time on this has also been good. I have had this on for 4 days now and it looks as beautiful as it did on day 1 with no chipping, no tip wear, and no fading. These SinfulColors polishes outperform many high end polishes and they are easily available at Walgreen’s, Target, WalMart, and they are often on sale for only .99 at Walgreen’s. I highly recommend picking this little beauty up if you find it, it’s a fantastic polish and I keep staring at the shimmery sparkles in the light. This is sooo pretty. Yes, yes, yes.
