I do not like this colour at all: it’s a sort of Dijon mustard colour. It looked like the polish had gone off. However I thought the formula was good and long lasting.

This is a camel/mustard-ish colour with gold glittery flecks. I would like it much more if it didn’t have such chunky glitter. It’s alright, I like wearing it once in a while but the glitter really disturbs me. I don’t like glittery nail polish.
I bought this in place of Dior’s Camel, which has micro-shimmer instead of glitter like in this.
I have NC25-30 hands and its quite flattering, I think. It’s unusual enough but also muted/low-key enough not to draw too much attention to yourself. It’s very versatile.
Formula’s fine, altho I needed 3 coats to get full coverage. With a topcoat, the glitter is not so obvious. But even with a topcoat, it doesn’t look smooth and glossy.
It’s a pain to remove though, cos of the glitter.

I was bored with pinks and nude shades, but wanted something subtle. This camel shade seems very hard to come by – very few manfacturers make it. The varnish goes on well, it is even and not at all blobby or streaky. But even with 2 coats it looked a bit too thin and translucent. It is now into its second day with no chipping or peeling. I wish cosmetic companies would stop putting glitter in everything. It is not Chritmas and we are not five years old. Another good product ruined with yucky gold sparkly bits!

A lot of people complain that this is an ugly color, but I think it falls more into the ugly-pretty category. A weird color, yes, but I still find it flattering. I love that it is a softer shade, but has some extra pizazz with the gold shimmer. I found the consistency to lean more toward the thin side, but it was easy to work with. I needed two coats for full coverage. It is definitely something I would purchase again!

I was looking for a nice neutral that wasn’t boring so classic camel seemed like a good choice. In the bottle it’s an interesting color with pretty sparkles. On my nails it is gross. Weird color with my skintone (NC20-ish) and the sparkles seem sort of chunky and rough when the nail polish dries. Do not like.

I was looking for a nice nude color but this color does not look good. It looks tan with some super tiny flecks of glitter in it. Formula is something I can handle, 2 coats did the trick. But the color is very unflattering & in certain lights really looks like crap. I’ve even had a family member tell me the same so will not be repurchasing.

I thought this would be a great nude color for a mani for fall. This is part of the China Glaze vintage vixen collection. I really loved how this shade was not just a camel colored creme formulation but that it had a subtle gold glitter without the punky chunky glitter of some other polishes, call it more…sophisticated? I found this color to match closely to my skintone and not be the most flattering. I did not like the consistency when i applied it. I thought the glitter would be like microglitter suspended in the product but instead produced an uneven, pasty, thick consistency when applying. I put on two coats and finished with a sally hansen diamond top coat. The top coat helped to even out the texture of the polish and give it a great shine but i am definitely not in love. I will leave it on until it begins to chip but I dont know that I would reapply. I would not repurchase. I feel like if you had a darker/deeper skin tone this would look a lot better. I like nude shades or the putty/brown/mauve family but this matched too close to my skin tone with a beige/yellow/orangy undertone and the glitter kind of disappeared. I do wish it was a bit warmer toned.

This strangely lovely concoction is part of the Fall 2010 Vintage Vixen line. In the bottle, it appeared to be a fairly true (perhaps slightly yellowed) camel with gold shimmer. On my nails, dry, it seems to be quite heavy on the goldenrod/mustard tones with a hint of green for good measure — which makes it more interesting, actually, but also slightly less attractive with my skin tone (neutral-cool, but very warmly tanned at the moment). I think it’s a fabulous color — subtle, but still tweaked — but either I got a bad bottle or I’m not digging the formula. In application it almost seems . . . sticky? It’s not overly-thick, but the final mani had that “I did this in 45 seconds with a 12 year old bottle of polish that had the consistency of paste” look that I’m notsomuch trying to go for, so I deducted a lippie on that basis. I think (I hope) I can play around with it and adjust, but since I’m skeptical I don’t think I’ll ever *need* to repurchase. Coverage and wear are both great, though — two coats for solid coverage was plenty, and it wears like a champ.
