This is my favorite black polish, and black is kind of my go-to (in polish, mascara, eyeliner, clothes, bags, shoes…you get the idea). I’ve tried many different brands and wanted to try Illamasqua Boosh but couldn’t stomach the price. I got a recommendation from the NB that this one was super smooth, shiny and easy to apply. It is all those things and more. It is opaque in 1 coat (though I still like to apply 2), doesn’t chip any more than any other polish, and has that cushy, gel look, which I love. People always ask me if I’m wearing a gel mani when I wear this. I just repurchased my 2nd bottle and consider this my HG black nail polish. Especially for the price.

I wear black nail polish A LOT. I’ve purchased black nail polishes from every brand you can think of. And for some reason, black nail polish tends to thicken very quickly. I always have to throw them away after about 6-8 months. But this nail polish is different. I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s still as good as new. There’s nothing else too special about it. It’s just plain black nail polish. I usually have to apply 2 coats to get it looking right. But the fact that it doesn’t thicken is a big plus.

was looking for a good black and when asking on the nail board for a good black this was suggested. I was a little nervous trying this one because most Fingerpaints I have tried had terrible application BUT……….this applied like a dream, it was even a one coater (if I am remember correctly). it was smooth, shiny, gorgeous, I just love it.
