I bought two nail polishes on eBay from this indie polish brand–Amethyst and Peacock Ore. In honor of my husband’s successful fight with pancreatic cancer, I chose to wear amethyst first. The formula is VERY thin, and it runs and pools something fierce, so be sure to wipe the brush first. I personally would have liked it to be thicker, but it is a vibrant violet jelly base with tons of sparkles of different colors and shapes–fuchsia, gold, silver, turquoise, to name a few. In the right light, it’s actually blinding. It took 3 coats, and certain nails even would have required a fourth if I was seeking perfection, but the sparkle sufficiently hid the fact that there were some streaks. I haven’t tried Peacock Ore yet, but it looks similar except it has a hunter green base, and it was part of the same collection. I used UNT peel off base coat and CND Vinylux top coat (it requires top coat to bring out the shine in the sparkles). I would not use peel off base coat with this again, and will try a dark purple cream polish under it due to the sheerness.
