I love this color!!! Hard to find now. It is such a pretty light light mint with a touch of grey. Problem is that it is so runny and hard to apply even drips while applying. Sad cause it is a great color but out of my 300 colors this is the worst application ever!!!! Won’t buy again!!!!

Like all Essie polishes I have used, I love the consistency & finish of this polish. The drying time isn’t too bad either, as I find some Essies need a decent drying time allowed. My only problem is, & it’s not the products fault, but as beautiful & refreshing as the colour is, it sadly gives my pale skin definite ‘alien fingers’. So pale girls be warned! I do however think it would be GORGEOUS on ladies with a medium to dark skin tone! 🙂

This color is a really pretty, green-grey color. It looks good on my light skin, and it also looks really good paired with a silver glitter polish (like an accent nail). That being said though, because it is a light color, I had to apply 3 coats to get it to full opacity. But that’s what I normally have to do with light colors anyway, so that wasn’t too much of a surprise or disappointment.

I am absolutely sure (see what I did there?) that this polish is a PITA to apply and for that reason it gets a low score for me. I took it off minutes after putting it on the first time because it looked so horribly on application.
The colour is nice and more green than mint candy apple, but still mint. But I wouldn’t recommend it.

I wanted a pastel green and Mint Candy Apple was too dark on my fair skin so I got Absolutely Shore. Its a pastel sea foam green with a hint of a grey undertone. I’ve seen other people seeing a blue undertone, but on me its definitely minty minty green which gives my very pale skin a slightly golden tanned look.
First coat is streaky, but the 2nd smooths it out. I found drying a pain, it takes ages to harden, and the finish isn’t very shiny. I highly recommend using a quick dry top coat to speed up drying and prevent prevent nicks and smudges. Would not re-purchase.

I LOVE this color. It doesn’t look that amazing in the bottle, but once you apply 2 coats, it’s simply amazing! It’s a mint green with an olive-y tone. It looks great with a tan because it’s alight color. Pretty on toes too. One of my fav Essie colors!

It’s such a lovely colour but it streaks so bad during the first few coats and it’s so difficult to apply! Frustrating, really. Just need to be patient and it will become opaque in a few more coats. Once you get over the application, it’s such a great colour on your nails and toenails – the lightest seafoam green with hints of grey. Suitable for the summer!

One of my favorite colors! Its the polish I gravitate towards all the time regardless of what season it is. Minty grey – sounds weird and even starts off ugly but after the 2nd coat the color comes together very nicely.

I purchased this polish about two years ago, when it first launched. I agree with everyone that it is difficult to work with and can be a streaky mess until you hit at least coat #3. However, the mint green color (with a touch of gray) is nice, especially in spring and summer when pastels seem the way to go.
Recently, I wanted to wear it and dug it out of my stash. To my horror, all pigment had faded. In the bottle it was now nearly white. No amount of shaking made a difference. I poured in some Nars Zulu to see if I could revive. I ended up with a nice light green but not the original shade of Absolutely Shore. For the record, my polishes are kept out of sunlight in an air conditioned house. I don’t know what happened here but it wasn’t caused by a poor environment. I never knew some Essies could be so unstable. Maybe I got a bad bottle, but I won’t repurchase and give this one another chance.

Absolutely love this color. So chic and unusual! A light minty green with a grey cast. Formulation is good, not great. The first coat can be streaky, but depends on your skill, the color can be evened out at 2nd or 3rd coat. Also, a good top coat like Seche Vite can help blend out the color a little bit better. I can see myself wearing this color often in the future.
