I totally love this palette. I ran out and bought it because I was still upset about not getting the first one. I used this every day for a week solid and was able to get different looks. It is my favorite palette at the moment. The shadows are very pigmented and blend well.

Is it worth the money? I think so. Quality is right on par with all the Lorac Pro palettes. If you like that texture, you will like this palette. I wish they would re-release the Mega Pro 1, because I would like to have both.
The term “buttery” gets thrown around a lot, and I don’t think it accurately describes the Lorac texture. Lorac shadows are more on the powdery side, but a soft silky powder that easily glides over lids with great pigmentation. Colors blend easily, and never get muddy. The texture is great, especially if you are getting to an age where you need to deal with fine lines and wrinkles.
So many people complain about how much powder gets “kicked up” when you dip into the shadow. I don’t have this problem. A few gentle taps of a decent shadow brush will pick up plenty of color, and doesn’t make a mess of the palette. (I use mac 217 and 239 brushes for eyeshadow)
Most of the mattes are great in this palette. (the lavender and purple are not the greatest though) The shimmers are nice too. (gold leaf isn’t the best either)
It’s tricky, because when I viewed this palette online, I didn’t think it looked that great. But seeing it in real life, I am so glad I purchased. There is just a really great variety here to create a LOT of different looks. I could do with 2-3 less of the lightest shades, but I like them for inner eye and eyebrow highlight.
For me, it’s fantastic. There are a few special colors, that make for some really neat, but still work appropriate looks. But it also has a few pops to make for a more evening look.

I really have been enjoying this palette. It comes with 32 colors half shimmer and half matte. I feel like some of the colors are very very powdery. I’m very light handed with my makeup and all I had to do with lightly tap the brush and it was covered in a cloud of smoke. I suggest you use a primer with these as with any shadow. I always wear a primer and a base but that’s me with any shadows. I find these really easy to blend and they are really pigmented. I think that if you really like the formula of the pro shadows then you will love these. They are the same thing!! The one negative thing that really irks me about this palette compared to last years is that this one only contains about 12g of product when last years mega pro had over 17g!!! They are still charging the same amount and supposedly the pans are still the same size. I saw on Temptalia they told her that the reason for the difference is because the pigments are different weights that are used to make the shadows. I just don’t know how much of that I believe. Other than that the palette is a hit with me. Ulta has a tester on display so you can go and do some swatching on it and test it before you buy it.
